It's true. Check out the Halo wiki and Bungie.com. Halo 3 and onwards are XBOX exclusive, which pisses me off but there's not much we can do about it.

Most RAM requirements go for 3GB+, so 2 or 2.5 doesn't seem to cut it anymore. Core 2 Duo is okay, but I've had problems integrating it with video games, so something like the Quad is a better bet. Hard drive space isn't as necessary, but it's always good to have 20+GB of free space. I think the video card is the most important factor. Make sure it's a recent version that also packs its own RAM and processing.

It has a plot... a barely discernable one due to all the filler shit clogging up the major part of the series.
Oh yea, terrain use was always an important factor when playing SC, but there are many more factors involved, especially with those Xel'Naga watchtowers and destroyable terrain. I'm pretty sure Blizzard stole the idea of different mineral patches from the Command & Conquer series where blue tiberium deposits yielded more minerals than the normal green tiberium deposits.
I haven't seen much use of the Immortals, which makes me wonder if they're a unit to be worth producing, but Protoss seems especially expensive in this new game.

Only Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 are available for PC. No other game in the Halo franchise will be ported to PC, which sucks. Halo 3, Halo Wars, Halo ODST are all games that are XBOX 360 exclusive.
We're in the Internet generation, where everything is about being up-to-date or else you're behind the times. This continuous deluge of technological updates is enough to drive a person nuts. As a 90s person, I suscribe to some of the up-to-date/impatient culture, but as a person I'm much more collected and calm. Values and interaction have changed somewhat due to the widespread use of e-relations. It's what I think is devaluing our societal values.
