Chill man, nothing bad was intended. And note that I continued the discussion after your quote of my post. It was discussed in a "who is the best gundam pilot" thread, and it pretty unraveled like the Kamille vs. Shinn debate, that's all.

@Ironytaken: Lol, my bad. I mistook your username for "Monster" when it's "Ironytaken", especially when you mentioned that Monster is your favorite anime and the name is in your avatar... how ironic.

I think anime from 2004 and onwards started a trend towards excessive fanservice and shit plots, shit pacing, and shit character development. There are still some redeemable series, but this 09 lineup is the worse I've ever seen.

@Rbz: there's things like laser surgery, and a laser is a form of electromagnetic wave that helps with correction and healing of eyes, whereas regular laser pointers will hurt your eyes. It didn't seem like sarcasm, but I know better now.

@Soul Slayer: you win, and you lose some. However, I'm far from ignorant as I have watched a bit from both series and was pretty disappointed from the bad pacing and filler material.

Since when did Sammy L. J. smoke cigars? Completely ups my respect for the guy, if it isn't already up there with his awesome movies and voice-acting of Afro from Afro Samurai.

@Monster: dude, you like some real old-school stuff there. Respect though. I liked Future Conan boy and Kimagure Orange Road, and I especially like Irresponsible Captain Taylor - that series was made of the lulz.

Don't wanna be a party pooper, but I'm pretty sure this debate was talked to death here at FAKKU! when Chuu! or Aion Crux was here. Pretty much the same deal with Kamille vs. Shinn, with the same type of youtube videos showing Newtypes beating the tar out of Coordinators, or in this case Amuro winning against Kira.

But for dicussion sake, I'd go with Kira. I think SEED abilities are greater than Newtype abilities that function on and off and aren't terribly or totally reliable. I also get the feeling that Newtypes often meet their enemies beforehand and therefore is able to gain "insight/gutfeeling" because they already met the enemy in person. With SEED, you wouldn't need to place your piloting skills and confidence on a talent that doesn't seem entirely accurate and instead just simply react. And there almost always a time lag with Newtype abilities from what I've seen.

Word. Chinese zodiac all the way. Much more plausible than, "oh noes, the Libra star is in for an accident when met up with Cancer in conjunction with Gemini, and if Scorpio shows up, beware of boils," or shit like that.

@Unsigned: that's a really good link you provided there, but I can't really agree with the first or second explanations as to why we like yuri. I do agree that women do it better than men, and that is probably a big factor why we like yuri, but I don't think his explanation of the last reason fully explains why in the porn business, women completely outnumber men in the industry and get paid much much higher. I think it lies on a more sociological understanding of women/men standing and sex that would explain our inexplicable fashion for yuri or anything lesbian related.
