Anyone attempting to purchase all the time limited DLC outfits, premium tickets or not?

I am progressing extremely slowly, due to work and a lack of time. >_>

I usually create topics on anime titles featuring ecchi fanservice. Of course, there are exceptions and "Kuma Miko Girl Meets Bear" happens to be one of them.

Amayadori Machi, is a middle school student, and a shrine maiden at a shrine paying tribute to bears within a mountain. Kumai Natsu, a talking bear, is Machi's guardian since childhood. One fine day, Machi proclaims that she wants to attend school in the city. To ensure that Machi is able to survive in the city, Natsu prepares tests and trains the former.

To be honest, the synopsis sounds a little boring, but I recommend that everyone give "Kuma Miko Girl Meets Bear" a chance to shine. Why? Because BEARS!

Pardon the bear for the following noob questions, which I would like to hear from everyone.

1)

From what hub0083 mentioned, can I safely say cross-save means the data from either the PS4 or Vita is uploaded to a server and then downloaded to either platform, if the user chooses to do so? On DOA Xtreme 3, what exactly is 'cross-saved"? Progress within the game? Swimsuits? Owner level?

2) As mentioned previously, anyone knows if the cross-save function works between a Vita Japanese edition and PS4 Asian edition? I will be playing both editions on my Japanese PSN account though. If both the Japanese and Asian editions are not cross-save compatible, I am tempted to sell my mint condition PS4 Asian limited edition, and then purchase a PS4 Japanese limited edition (assuming the latter is still in stock).

To be honest, I have no idea how cross-save works either. I bought my Vita about a week ago and I am still learning about its compatibility functions with the PS4.

After playing DOA Xtreme 3 on the Vita for a while, I realize I suck quite badly at this game. ^_^;; Or perhaps I am merely distracted by all the fanservice? I need more practice with the beach volleyball game, as well as that of the going across the water by pressing the crossing buttons reflected on the floats.

Lastly, I am disappointed tanning is not available on the Vita. I guess I will be spending more time at my friend's place once the PS4 edition arrives.

Let me see if I can summarize it for you based on my memory of the various titles.

Senran Kagura Burst (3DS) - Features the original 2 clans / schools, Hanzou and Hebi. During the gameplay, more is explained about each character's past. Side scrolling beat em up.

Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus (Vita) - Features 2 new clans / schools on top of the original 2. Beat em up similar to Dynasty Warriors.

Senran Kagura 2 (3DS) - I have the game lying somewhere, but I have yet to play it. Side scrolling beat em up.

Senran Kagura Estival Versus (PS4 and Vita) - All 4 clans are brought to an island for a festival, whereby dead female ninjas are brought back to life. Beat em up similar to Dynasty Warriors.

I believe there is another side game on the Vita platform, named Bon Appetit. Rhythm game.

In addition, I find it ironic that we are in a DOA Xtreme 3 thread, discussing about "substance to go along with the plot". :D

Getting back on topic, I heard DLCs for DOA Xtreme 3 are already out. Milking our money so soon!? T_T

I am waiting for my Japanese limited edition of DOA Xtreme 3 (Vita) to arrive from Amiami and the Asia limited edition of DOA Xtreme 3 (PS4) to be processed at Play Asia. Can hardly wait!

I just bought a Vita last weekend, with the intention to play Valkyrie Drive, Senran Kagura (Shinovi Versus and Estival Versus) and of course, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3.

Anyone knows the difference in the PS4 and Vita editions of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3? I reckon the former has more functions or gameplay options?

Anyone is welcome to post in this thread, as long as they feel like reminiscing about the time spent on Fakku and the forums.

Technically, one could reminisce about events which occurred a minute ago, an hour ago, or even centuries ago. :D

I preordered the Asia version, but now I am tempted to change my order to the Japanese version, partly because I intend to purchase a PS Vita solely to play Japanese games too.

As for characters, I will most probably start off with the sisters - Kokoro, followed by Helena.

Some say Tina is overrated, but personally, I wish she were in DOA Xtreme 3 as well. I guess I will have to make do with Kokoro and Helena.

I am somewhat surprised by the collaboration. Then again, surprise makes a good marketing strategy. That or LV is having difficulty finding (and paying?) real models? :D

Since I have some time over the upcoming Chinese New Year period, I might read through all the posts and reply to each of them. :)

I suspect this is the first time in a long time that any part of the forums is getting a significant increase in posts.

Then again, I could be wrong, since I have no access to the statistics nor figures. :)

As promised, here I am, with my comments.

Instead of a short story, I would like to think of your entry as a scene from a script. As mentioned by some of the users, the dialogue is somewhat heavy. I like the aspect whereby you portrayed the conflicting emotions within the protagonist. On the other hand, there is less insight on Ms Hailey's thoughts and emotions, perhaps because she is merely a support character?

I enjoyed the first half of the entry, but the ending was somewhat predictable. If only there is some way to include a plot twist, it might make this particular entry / short story more memorable for readers.

Nonetheless, the use of uncommon vocabulary is excellent. It is a feat which I cannot hope to achieve with my limited proficiency of the language. :)

With regards to the Wii U, challenge them to a duel (preferably an aspect in which you have confident). Winner gets to keep the Wii U, at least for the festive season. :D
