I think he meant the pic with.. fuck
I feel like someone needs to have this printed on canvas, then send it to hang on the walls of the future glorious Fakku office (because I have seen the future and Fakku will become a giant megacompany, clearly).

An instance of of cultural appropriation I have unwittingly committed, was in my younger years my mother, a recovering-catholic, and I, not having a religion, would every year go to the Buddhist Festival in Sacramento, CA. We did not know why there was a festival, and I suppose I should at least use Google as to why the invent took place. To us it was about the food. They had the best barbecue chicken drumstick I can remember. Even to this day when ever I see a Buddha statue I often hunger for chicken. I want to say that I think it is wrong to simplify a culture into a fad or Taco Tuesday. To lose the culture is to lose the meaning. Yet I remember how much fun I had at the Buddhist Festival with the food, music, and dancing. We did not share the meaning behind the festival but we created our own. It may not have been the right one, but it was our's. To this day I remember those times fondly. So while I think there is something wrong when I see someone with a tribal "tramp stamp", I still feel my experience is justified; the tattooed person will most likely think the same.
I feel the line between celebrating a culture and bastardizing should be distinct. As EZ-2789 brought up Cinco de Mayo. I know Mexican-Americans that love Cinco de Mayo and those that find it offensive. So I take the approach of keeping my mouth shut.
TL;DR Version: I have found memories of committing cultural appropriation, so I feel torn. Despite getting upset with the more obvious cases.
Also I apologize if this sidetracks the conversation, but in some cases (such as the English shirt debacles) how much of these cases do you think can be contributed to social imperialism?
I think in your case you were fine - clearly this isn't a problematic situation (neither are the tshirts to be honest - just stupidity sometimes!), the festival was probably about inviting others to celebrate an occasion. You weren't intentionally ripping off a specific rite or religious practice, I'm going to guess. :)

[color=#2e1a6b]I think we should either add a romance tag, or redefine the vanilla tag. I'm seeing vanilla tags on stuff like this:
https://www.fakku.net/doujinshi/atari-english
https://www.fakku.net/doujinshi/asama-sama-is-being-shot-japanese
https://www.fakku.net/doujinshi/mamagoto-english
just for reference, the current description of vanilla is
The vanilla tag refers to manga and doujinshi that do not contain anything out of the ordinary or unusual. The majority of stories will be cute and romantic, involving only one boy and one girl falling in love.
I fully agree.
I have posted a Vanilla-redefine thread in Helpers/Uploaders forum, but as of now very few replies and no official word.
I think it needs revision, but at the same time, there aren't that many people who can officially revise it besides well.... I'm gonna guess Jacob or another admin.

I broke it...Yeah, it crashes once it's too tough to handle. I guess that's game over?
And I was only trying to fill the entire screen with fish...
NICE.
Creepy thing is, if you put in a ton of fish, they like, a) destroy everything and b) sometimes make cacti grow. o_o
I haven't really mastered balancing the whole thing...
Dammit, Fakkuverse crashed... eh, not too bad.

AWWWWW fucking lame, my screencast uploads must have a limit on them, all my pics are gone. :(
It was really cool, too...

The female can choose to be morally devastated at her being raped and impregnated. Or, she can equally choose to see this child as a blessing(there have been some women who were strong enough to make this decision. Not only strong enough obviously as it pertains to the mental stress. But also as it pertains to society who would so gladly push her to put the baby under the gutter).Saying a rape victim should see a child that results from it as a blessing is one of the most disrespectful things i've heard. Raising a child is hard fucking work, both emotionally and financially. If a women who knows she does not have the money or time to take care of the child and happens to get raped, are you really going to tell her she should have the baby anyways?
I really hate the concept of: We have a terrible means of methods of dealing with a situation, I know, let's use a "what if" scenario to conjecture up an excuse that justifies said terrible means. It's not a permissible argument intellectually :D.
Why do rapes happen to begin with? That might be the more pressing question, and I think a great deal is again, due to social media. A social media that actively sexualizes the feminine, as well as a social rejection of the male who becomes depressed, sexually frustrated and ultimately a rapist.
But yet, the rest of society resists, what you say, is this "constructed urge" to rape.
Rape is not a product of culture. Lack of understanding what rape IS, how wrong it is, and how one should stop ONESELF FROM RAPING, IS a product of culture. Rape occurred before "civilized" eras.
Social media and media have nothing to do with it, rapists committing rape DOES.
Social rejection happens to a variety of people. Males are not entitled to social status (no one is, it's earned...) nor to female/male company. Sexual frustration happens to everyone, but not everyone attempts nor commits rape.
Please rethink your flawed logic.
Another example of misuse of a clothing article without understanding meaning: the keffiyeh scarf.
Helpful Arabic (and this verse, English) song about why it's kinda messed up that this was a fashion trend in the last few years... start at 3:50 point for that verse.

I vote when an answer is applicable.
For example, last poll, there was no option for "Not sure if marrying".

Youtube's CC transcription and translation make the story seem like a very beauraucratic EVA and Momotaro parody.
