I think it's quite interesting how the story is told. We get a pretty long flashback in between the present lovemaking and the whole "sex with the chief" aspect is not pointed out clearly (like we are used from other stories). And no talking about him stealing her away or her saying that he made her his woman. Even the revelation is only one sentence long and the reader has the freedom to decide what it actually means. And everything on 12 pages. Wow...

He might have been to pushy, but this seems to be the reason why he secured the "deal" with her...
