Although I like the idea there is still one problem: the girl loves him, so if he would decide to go for her mother she would be heartbroken. Except they go for a harem ending, but I somehow can't picture Hinasaki Yo taking the easy road..

I think he has a chapter in every BEAST issue (at least for the last six issues), so you can look forward to more of his glory every month...

At the end I thought about why we get to see the end bit and consideret the possibility of a plot twist in form of her being his daughter (she fell in love with him and they banged, so that would be a hell of a revelation), but then decided to go with "circle of life": once he was a thug and was shown kindness and love by someone else and now it's his turn to return the favor on someone else. As he knows the pain from being left behind by the wife, I'm quite optimistic that he will take good care of the girl. Maybe we need a sequel (or is it a se-sequel?) to make sure...

Exactly! Some relationships are simply like good clothing and just fit. Them being seperated is like wearing only one shoe, it doesn't make any sense and doesn't feel right...
