My first love rejected me thrice, and I knew I had to step aside and let her continue with her life while we maintained a normal friendship. You have to tell yourself that if you do love her, you'll be happy as long as she's happy. THAT's love. Love isn't in the form of 600 emails, camping around her house, guarding the train station. THAT's spamming and stalking.

I don't think being an otaku could make one THAT bad, so I'd say this is really over the edge. The fact that he could 'misinterpret' the "Please stop emailing me" message says it all.

OP seems to be suffering from serious brain damage that overloads his feelings of optimism and pessimism. Apparently he doesn't quite act on common sense. The fact that 600 emails over 3 days doesn't appear to him as 'obviously stalking' and marks him as 'a very, very dangerous and psychologically unstable person' says it all.
Heck - I've got a friend who had a torrent of 30 such messages (hounding ones) from someone in a DAY and we all avoided that guy after that. 600 in 3 days? He's lucky he isn't brought to the authorities under suspicion that he's a stalker. 'Denko' is too nice. I'd report it straight once the emails hit 100. Lol.
