I've been playing an old game from my childhood called Magical Hat.

When Pokémon first came out I always found it amusing that one specific piece of promotional art for the early days of the anime was conceptually identical to the boxart of the Magical Hat game for the Sega Genesis.



I wouldn't be surprised if that was an intentional reference since the Magical Hat anime aired 9 years before Pokémon's debut, under Studio Pierrot.

I've been relaxing today. A combination of being too hot to get proper restful sleep at night, and working 4 days in a row has tuckered me out.

I've been playing a lot of the Generation 4 Pokémon games recently, namely Platinum but also used SoulSilver for trades, and recently bought myself Diamond and Pearl from CEX. Not checked out Pearl but Diamond has a save file from 2010 on it. It doesn't have much on it, previous owner obviously traded off all their 'mons onto another game. It did have a Shiny Geodude on it though, and some other 'mons infected with PokéAids so I traded those over to SoulSilver. Eventually I intend to transfer the Geodude to Ultra Sun. Then once I'm done with Gen 4 I'm going to work on Gen 5.

What an exciting life I lead.

But Ron and Kim aren't and we weren't talking about Shego so that's a little irrelevant.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which I NG+'d so I'm playing through the game again.

A friend of mine got cheated on by his girlfriend with her ex she was still hung up on, and I lost all respect for her after that. They got back together against our advice, and then he cut ties with us. Hasn't spoken to us for 4 years. They're now expecting a kid.

More power to them I suppose as long as he's happy, but I still think she doesn't deserve him since he was loyal to her all throughout until she cheated on him. A happiness that she doesn't deserve as far as I'm concerned.

It's May now and I can still access everything. I wonder what they were trying to distract us from this time?

That usually means it's going to get shelved because too many people are against it, because everyone in the world except those trying to push this ridiculous law has common sense.
