AW MAN THATS FUCKING NASTY
all my hype for railgun yuri gone
hopefully I have recovered by the time i can lay my eyes upon the ReDrop one I'm oh so desperately looking for
I liked Majoras Mask more than Ocarina of Time, and it's my #1 of all the awesome titles I could quickly come up with.
Mischief Makers, Banjoo Kazooie and Ganbare Goemon are all titles I possess but never gotten around to actually beat them.

Blizzard thinking they can just milk everyone like their average mindless WoW player.
Me and a bunch of friends have all cancelled our SC2 pre-order and are not considering to get the game until they fix AT LEAST those three big evils that are region lock, lack of chat channels (Both apparently getting handled but I'm curious about the results.) and lack of LAN.

The only thing I dislike is how, with the skill system, it takes years of continuous play to get to a decent standard. If your mates start before you, you pretty much get phased out, just because you literally can't catch up (skilled or otherwise).I started EVE with people that have been playing for years already. It doesn't take long until you can fulfill a role on a decent level, skill-wise. The difference is just limitation - I kick ass with battlecruiser & battleship sizes alone, my friends can fly literally everything, including offrace ships.
Nevertheless, if you want to catch up it is very important to plan your schedule accordingly, and invest into learnings and implants early on. Although I've heard things about the devs removing the learning skills soon (As it worsens the new player experience.), and grant you the skillpoints for other things.
Yeah, I cancelled my SC2 pre-order. I'm also not gonna bother with Diablo III.
One of the most awesome game designers in history getting corrupted by tapping too much into the evil that is making money.
Not mentioned so far is Atlantica Online, it's a koreagrinder with a rather unique (In this genre.) turn-based, strategical combat system.
The difficulty is highly above your average grindfest. Even your regular low-level "Kill 40 xzy" quest might leave you looking for a group.
The item mall system is a double edged sword. It contains status boosting gears and such, but everything is tradable. Item mall gear is highly accessable to everyone who knows how to effectively farm money at higher levels, but server-wide notifications and pop-ups regarding the item mall never cease to irritate the crap out of you.

I'm born with a brain frequency malfunction causing Schizophrenia with it's various side effects.
Childhood wasn't very pleasant, but my family was cool with handling it once they started to figure out what's going on in my head.
The problems it caused are gone (Or rather, in my absolute control.) today after years of struggling with it, except for a few side affects like occasional insomnia, minor hallucinations and muscular cramps - the good points about it stuck with me, like increased dexterity, perception and learning ability.
I basically got rewarded for beating the shit out of my head.
I never took meds or teraphy after my schizophrenia and it's cause were diagnosed. I said "no" and my parents respected that. And a good choice they made.

I have an iPhone 3G and it's a fucking piece of shit as Apple never stops to go after my wallet at every possible opportunity since I use it.
It was a present though, I'd never spend money on something that has an Apple logo on it.

I have had an immense interest in almost everything about Japan since I started watching anime. How many people do you think have gone mad about japan for the exact same reason? There's a bullshit amount of different "JAPANESE CULTURE" communities all over the west, and they're everything but japanese. Every anime, manga, hentai, culture etc boards I've paid visit to were literally drowning in "I'm learning japanese" and "I'm going to Japan" threads made by all kinds of different people, but they all had equal reasoning and were all equally worthless with their whole approach on the thing. You're wondering why people aren't taking you seriously?
You know what I did when I opened this thread? I scrolled down the text and looked for how long it'd take me to read about you going to Japan of all countries - It took me about twenty seconds and you didn't disappoint. You're giving the exact same impression as the hundreds of other people on the internet who I've seen approach their goals like that. See, the difference to someone who would give a far more serious impression is he wouldn't be on an american website talking to english speaking people who are literally all the same as you and also don't know jack about what they're actually aiming at - he would be on a japanese board instead, writing the japanese language to japanese people in japan instead, which he can do because he was serious on the whole thing and has already shown that he's capable of putting all this effort into it. You're just waiting for the whole thing to come to you, thinking that Japan's gonna take you in and gladly accept you and teach you their language. Why would they do that?
Now I don't wanna bash on you, but if you're serious about your dreams then you have to step your shit up and show some determination. Reading english articles on japanese culture and having arguments with english people in an english community doesn't get you anywhere, really.
And so does preparing yourself for a culture you haven't had any first hand experience with, really. That's not how it works. You're concerning yourself with all the wrong things.
The quality of players should rapidly increase once you get your summoner profile to a higher level.
The ELO calculation for matchmaking is highly level dependant, sadly. Just focus on getting a good grip of the game and the capabilities of the individual heroes as you work your way up. Getting wins shouldn't be hard at this point, and winning gets you out of that sad playerpool really fast.
The game revolves highly around zoning, map control and implied threats. Look at the minimap and learn to predict otherwise unseen enemy movements. You can't die to what you can see coming, and dying is the worst thing you could do in this game. It's not uncommon in higher ELO games that the first 15 minutes pass without anyone dying on either team.
