I love the Sword Art Online novels but the anime just doesn't measure up to it, especially in the Fairy Dance arc and poor handling of the sidestory materials. We could have been perfectly fine if there wasn't the Scilica side story because she never plays any role in the entire SAO series. Lizbeth made Kirito's Dark Repulser but aside from that, she's also pretty useless. The Murder sidestory was an excuse to get some post story AsunaxKirito development as well as giving Heathcliff more screen time, but Heathcliff didn't even show up in the anime. Also Recon's voice is so bloody annoying, he reminds me of Spiegel from Phantom Bullet.
I suppose Psycho-Pass, Sakurasou, and Ixion Saga DT are my favorite animes this season. I mean who can't love an anime where the protagonist destroy's the antagonist's balls with spiked boots and rocket hammers.
