Actually, if you're a person that appreciates good prog music every now and then, I'm sure anything from 'Lightbulb Sun' on would be a good place to start with, I myself did so with 'Deadwing'. Their newest release as of now might be something you'd want to save for later, its songwriting is a bit slower, experimental and less exciting than usual. I love it myself, it's still a very atmospheric album, but it's imaginable that people starting out could be turned off by this.
