Correct. The limit was put in place purely for performance reasons. There are around 700 thousand registered users on FAKKU, if every one of those users subscribe to 10 attributes there will be over 7 million subscriptions to check for every single upload. Obviously that won't happen, and I have built it in a way that is considerably less expensive, but you get the idea.

I have updated the original list to only include tags

One week ago we launched the subscription feature and since then there have been over 100,000 subscriptions created. What are the most popular subscriptions you ask? Well here is a list of the top 10 subscribed tags:

For the past few weeks we have been testing a long requested feature, subscribing to artists/tags/series/scanlators/uploaders. And as of today it officially launches! By creating an account you can now subscribe to any of the these attributes and when a piece of content is uploaded to FAKKU that matches something that you are subscribed to, you will receive a notification! It is built into the existing notification system and I've a new section listing all of the subscriptions you have received.

To subscribe to an attribute just visit the attributes page and click "Subscribe". You will then receive notifications and uploads will be added to your subscriptions page. Currently we only allow you to subscribe to attributes at once, so choose carefully. Here are some example pages:
