I actually (was born and raised and) live in Boston, so I'm definitely going to AB. I'll probably drop by (anonymously most likely) to say hi, although I most likely can only do that on Friday since I probably don't want to be stuck with cabs after the MBTA stops on Saturday. It's my first time with a three day pass, so I'm excited about the events that will take place on each day, such as the Attack on Titan dub among many other things.
If I you introduce yourself, I'll give you some free stuff! It should be a lot of fun this year
This weekend we'll have a booth at Anime Boston and be giving panels over the weekend. This convention holds a special place in my heart because it's the first convention I ever attended (I grew up in Massachusetts), it's the first one we ever gave FAKKU panels at (back in 2010), and it's where I met Mike (my heterosexual lifemate).
If you're gonna be there, come to our panels and stop by the booth to say hi!

What does everyone want?Which one is easier to code, and less likely to fuck up the system and/or the server if something goes wrong?
There shouldn't be any performance impact no matter which way we choose, plus this will be a gold feature so a small amount of users will have access to it.
I'm actually implementing it as we speak (though FAKKU Gold itself still won't be live for a little while).
That said, how exactly would everyone like the "ignore" attribute feature to look. You will be able to ignore any attribute on FAKKU (an attribute is an artist, tag, series, translator, or uploader). Should the content not show up at all if you have it on your ignore list? Should it show a warning on the top of the page when you are looking at it? Should it show a popup warning the forces you to click continue? Should it show a black box on the front page if the content contains an ignored attribute?

This year we will be at several conventions around the United States and Canada. If you haven't been to an anime/gaming convention I highly recommend it, they are a great way to meet new people with similar interests (plus you get to attend our awesome panels). Here are some of the upcoming events we'll be at!
