Well... let's say I'm the girl... though I can't say I understand how she, or a girl thinks at all. I'm gonna assume she's totally okay with LDR, that she knows it's possible for her to make it work.

I'd bring the topic up to him. Even if it makes things awkward, if he's that desperate to avoid it. I'd have him explain how he sees the relationship. And then try to work things out and tell him that it can really work. Then, if he still thinks the distance is too big a wall to overcome, why wait until the move to end things? I don't see it as something inevitable as much as him declaring that she's not worth the relationship the moment she moves a little further.

LDR is certainly possible, but it takes two people with dedication and love.

1. Necessities, random stuff, loads of books, whimsical buys, some cash I'd burn I think, donate...
2. Knowing me, most likely I'll stay the same...
3. I probably would. How much, depending on whims. Also I'm more likely to donate to the poor people I met myself than charity agencies...
4. Whatever comfortable to me. Fuck suits, I'd choose loose t shirt and jeans any day. Or at home, sarong.
5. A nice house for us. If it happens to be a mansion, a mansion it is. Though unlikely, since that seems ridiculously hard to maintain. Maybe some other house for rent etc.
6. I found her, I'd tell her ofc. But for the purpose of answering, assuming I'm still single, dunno much of her etc... I'd keep it secret, and then reveal it at some stage in the relationship. If she suddenly changes due to mere cash... I think I should kiss the relationship goodbye.
7. Probably.
8. Depending on how much I enjoy the job, how much free time it allows me etc...
