It sounds like at the very least she liked you at one pointed and would have gladly said yes to a relationship. But right off the bat I can see that you are investing way too much of your emotional energy into it. If you are getting upset to the point of being sick you should really take some time to just back off and collect yourself.

I also noticed you said "though normally we hug at the end for a while". That might have been your opportunity to try for a kiss or to say something about liking her as more than a friend.

I recommend dropping a few random hints about liking her in your online conversations and see how she responds. After that it should be pretty obvious to you how she feels about it. Step up the flirting a little bit or if you haven't, start flirting. Tell her she looks good in an outfit or something like that. If you feel like she is rejecting these comments in the slightest, back off, you missed your chance.

Looking back this turned into quite a rant. I apologize. I just kind of kept typing things.

First off I do not have any physical qualifications that I look for in a partner. Obviously I would need to be attracted to them, but that's the only physical requirement I would have. I can find all different types of people attractive, there's a lot more to my decisions than just looks.

I'd like a girl who isn't afraid to punch me in the balls every now and again (figuratively). I'd like a girl that can speak their mind and have opinions of their own, yet is more than willing to change their opinion if the situation calls for it. I'd like a girl who is talented and motivated and has her own goals but also wants to make them work with mine.

I'd like a girl who is not only aware of my life but helping me to live it. I like it when I get wake up calls in the morning
(I usually ignore my alarm clock). I like being reminded of things I need to do. I'd like a girl that tries to cook for me and I'll say it's good even if it's not. I'd like a girl that finds all of my bad jokes funny (most of my jokes are bad). I'd like a girl that can make me laugh. I'd like a girl that doesn't care that I am a gigantic nerd, bonus points if she is also one. I'd like a girl who can be spontaneous with me when I get spontaneous (this happens a lot).

Good sex is important, I want to be passionate and rough at the same time. I'd like a girl who is possessive of me even though deep down she knows I will be faithful. I'd like a girl I can hang out with all day doing absolutely nothing and feel completely content.

I was recently introduced to Capsule, a Japanese electronic duo. And I love them.
