For those of you who don't know the birthday of FAKKU going online is on December 1st, and this year I have a pretty awesome announcement to celebrate. This will be our third year online, so make sure you visit the site on our birthday!

I have heard that a few translator blogs hosted on wordpress/blogspot have been getting shutdown due to terms of use violations. So I would like to offer hosting on the FAKKU servers to established translators/scanlators. I support what you all do and don't ever want you to stop doing it, so I will do anything I can to help.

So I was going to keep this a secret for a little while, but it's time to finally announce it! The awesome people over at Cosplay Deviants are doing a FAKKU themed photoshoot! For those of you who don't know what Cosplay Deviants is, it's "undressing the art of playing dress up" (basically, it's awesome). And the model they will be using is the one and only Lexi.

And the best part is they are doing a live stream of the photoshoot. Want to know when it's happening? RIGHT NOW.

Had an awesome time at Another Anime Convention in New Hampshire this weekend. Thanks to everyone who came by the booth to say hello. Don't have another convention scheduled until Anime Boston in April, so feel free to send me an email if there is anything worth attending between now and then.

I have made a topic on the forums hoping to compile all of the fanart created for/about FAKKU into one place. So if you have fan art or want to make some, post it in this topic.

I don't think anyone around realizes this, but Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion is responsible for the color scheme on FAKKU and she is a huge reason the site was created in the first place. So if anyone is deserves to be our mascot, it would be her.

Over the 3 years FAKKU has been online there has been a lot of fan art posted about the site. I have lost track of it and would like to compile it all in the fan art album in our Facebook group. Plus I want to have it all for my own collection, it has been awesome seeing things created about the site over the years.

So if you have created/have fan art about the site, or want to create some, post it in this thread.

If anyone wants to donate a few thousand dollars, we can solve all the problems!

I know this is long overdue, but I have finally banned all posts on the forums that contain links to hotfile, sharecash, and depositfiles. If you are someone using these filehosts to share your stuff, try using a filehost that doesn't suck. I am open to more suggestions on hosts to ban.
