Those new features I talked about last week have gone live. We have added a tabbed menu to the top of each view manga page. From this menu you can see the generic information about the manga, view related hentai based on the artist name, series, and title, or view the users who have that manga in their favorites.


Currently the favorites system is disabled so you can't actually add anything to your favorites, but only because I am improving it and increasing the total favorites allowed to 10! Let me know what you think of these features or if you have any ideas for more.

I also meant to point this thread out a while ago, the only FAKKU user who has ever purchased an official shirt from us. He forced me to sell it to him off the back of one of my friends, and I obliged.

I believe if you do the send password form it will reset your password and send you the new one. Email me at jacob@fakku.net with the email you used for your original account and I'll check into it.

Check your junk email folder for the forgot password email too, 90% of the time it ends up there.

Don't use a download manager and you're all set.

But just for curiosities sake, what are you using? I'll take a look at it.

Have you tried just replacing it with something else?

Just fixed this, it was a problem on the full screen view page. If you have any more issues let me know :D

Yeah I'm really pushing for this to be a community and not just a place to get hentai. If anyone has any ideas to help please share.

Over the next few days you will see us rolling out a few new features. Including a "related manga" section when you are viewing a particular manga. We are also redoing the favorite system and changing how they are shown when you view the users with a specific manga in their favorites. Until this goes online the favorite system will most likely not be working. In addition to favorites we will be adding a user "collection", you may have seen the new menu item to accomodate this. Your collection will be used to show off what manga you actually own in paper form, and will be displayed in your profile. And this will all lead up to finally improving the user profiles.

Either today or tomorrow we will be changing the IP address of the main FAKKU server. This will not result in downtime necessarily, but it will take about 24 hours for the DNS to point towards the right place. When we make the change I'll put instructions for flushing your DNS so you see the new location right away. In fact if someone could comment with instructions on how to do that it would be greatly appreciated.

We are also looking for another translator and another editor for the scanlation team. If you're interested you can email Raze about translations, and Nikon about editting. If you decide to apply be warned that we are only accepting very skilled people, as a translator you should be very versed reading Japanese, and editors should have experience on other projects.

Also the second round of MOTEMOTE ended! I am going to wait until all of the above happens before starting the next round, so you can look forward to random joke polls until then.

And of course, hentai!

Round 2 of MOTEMOTE has ended! So I am going to take a break for a few days before we start the next round. In the meantime you'll get random fabulous polls like this one.

I'm reworking favorites and never announced that it was going to be taken down, shouldn't be more than a day or two.

I decided to take over this thread since the original creator, rice eater yumi, is no longer active and her images died.
