So instead of working on all of the really important things I have planned, I keep doing lots of little things. I added the 0 1 2 3 4 5 etc. page browsing back to the view online page for manga, that was only taken down temporarily while I recoded it.

I also added a *dark and *light option while you are viewing online. Selecting one will switch the CSS stylesheet between a dark one and a light one, effectively "turning the lights" on or off. I don't know if anyone will actually use it, but I got bored and thought it might be a cool idea. You can see a view online page here.

And you should notice the site running faster. Incredibly fast.

Hahaha I remember seeing a commercial with one of these, but I didn't realize they made more.

So we're looking at getting a new server for the main site pretty soon, which would be about three times as fast, which is awesome. We might set up a donation drive for it in the near future so hopefully we can raise the money for it.

I heavily modified the view online page for all of the manga. It went from a 30kb file to 4kb, so it's a big improvement. It shouldn't have a problem displaying images with Japanese characters in the filename, which it couldn't do before and is why some manga wouldn't display. The dimensions for viewing online will be 1000 height and 1400 width, which is the same as downloading the manga in medium resolution. If you want larger download the high resolution files.

We are still working on the image section, but as you can see we are working on other things in the meantime. I feel really good about the progress we have been making, it seems every few days we either improve an existing feature or add a new one. We are looking at adding a tag system to all of the manga and redoing the user profiles next. I've said it before but if you have ideas let me know, I'm always looking to make FAKKU kick more ass.

Also I saw this article on Digg about manga leading to child murder, incest, and rape. I got a laugh out of it.

Noutakun pointed out HardContacts signature in the last post, which led to www.sloganizer.net , which generated this update title, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I meant to mention this a week ago, but for those of you who live in New Zealand over the next two days there is going to be an anime convention called Armageddon Expo which our IRC overlord Hibia will be attending. To quote him "It is probably the only anime con existing in NZ. He hopes to not see you around, but that you enjoy yourselves anyway". So if you're there just yell out HIBIA!! periodically and maybe he will approach you.

I fixed Immoral Sisters Episode 2, which hasn't been working for a few months. I apologize for not getting around to that earlier. And I put up a new video which I was actually quite surprised we hadn't posted sooner, as it is one of my favorites. Sora no Iro Mizu no Iro with English subs, the only thing I don't like is the censorship. Does anyone know if an uncensored version exists?


I'll hopefully be redoing the video section tomorrow, there are far too many videos to display at once. Would you rather have me take the page and just paginate it? Or come up with an index page like the manga section?

If you haven't noticed I love making completely random [color=darkred]FAKKU[/color] banners every few days. If this ever gets annoying let me know, but I'll keep doing it regardless. And here's some delicious hentai.

Haha yeah I ended up losing part of the emails while I was working on some new stuff, thankfully it is easily fixed.

So we are rolling out the "Edit Manga Information" feature for users that have 10 or more reputation. At the moment this is only about 20 of you, so we may reduce it sometime in the future. But until then try to get some more reputation so you can use it!

With it users are able to edit the basic information for each manga if it needs correction, add artist tags, write a description (up to 400 characters long), and add translator information to English releases that are not our own. I hope this will give everyone a little more information before you bother downloading anything.

I will probably record the amount of edits each user has contributed to the site and display it in your profile, that is once I redo the profiles (which I am doing). And the image section is still a work in progress x_x

And hopefully I will get a hentai update online before the end of the night, or rather the beginning of the day. Want new videos?

But Fatal Relations, Paradise Heights, Season of Sakura, Nocturnal Illusion and a bunch more all happened at around the same time.

If depositfiles wasn't the worst file hosting site ever I would consider it. But every time I have to download a file from there I die a little inside. You have to go through like 12 pages and wait 60 seconds, and sometimes it won't even let you download the file.

Good suggestion though.

You may have noticed different ads displaying on the site over the past few days. I am trying to find the best way to generate some money without intruding on your experience with FAKKU. We really need another server to improve things 10 fold around here, and we have just barely been breaking even with costs for far too long. And I would love to give some money to the translation team for all their hard work, but these are all things I haven't been able to do.

Being an adult site we can't just use Google Adwords which I would like to, so we have to settle for crazy adult ads that are horribly unpleasing to the eye when browsing the site. It's a trade off between you having a good experience here, and the site making money.

I agreed, these things are fucking gay.

I have been trying to raise some money for a new server, but these ads are way too intrusive. I have been testing different ads and you won't see those clicksor ones anymore.

I must have broke something x_x and something tells me it won't be easy to fix. But I'm on the case!
