We do not offer the free digital edition for orders that do not come directly from FAKKU. So Amazon orders do not get a free digital edition.
Well that sucks. Then can you somehow use a different shipping method?
I mean, I think you can definitely understand that I would want to use Amazon when I have to pay just half for the shipping there. How can it be so much more here?
Also how about my other question? When you pre-order there, when will it be shipped? Amazon preorders are generally last?
Pre-orders on FAKKU are prioritized ahead of everywhere else, but I think Amazon orders will be sent out at roughly the same time as orders here.
So why is it so much cheaper on Amazon?? I mean, why would I preorder here then? Why would I waster 10$ on shipping at the SAME speed?
For the sake of international customers, can you not figure out any other way?
If not, I guess I'll have to live with the fact of not getting a digital version.
I hope you see I am not "nitpicking", don't you agree that really is a big problem for international customers? I think there must be another way, especially as you are expanding this business as you get more "professional".
It's your decision where you buy the book. If you buy it directly through us it's better for us. That's why we incentivize it by giving you a free digital edition of the book.
That's all there is to it, it's your decision.
Why would it be better for you? The price is...the same?
It's just about the shipping cost and I am wondering how they can just have half the price. Can't you ship with the same carrier or whatever?
If that's the way it is, I wouldn't feel bad about getting the digital version elsewhere. I mean, I supported you, I payed for it, so why would I not get it.
Lol at how at a former pirating site, I even don't want to say things like that even though that used to be normal here, too.
When you sell on a third party retailer (like Amazon), they take a percentage of the sale for themselves. That percentage of the sale is what we use here to give you a free digital edition of the book. So when you purchase through a third party retailer we do not offer the free digital edition.
The shipping cost is a different issue that we will figure out soon.
