*sigh* I'm not a really good saver.

I earn a fairly high salary considering I'm just approaching 3 years of work experience. I spent three years scrimping on a predetermined salary rate from my agency (I'm an IT contractual worker) just for work experience and be assigned to a top telecom company. Back then, I had a hard time making ends meet since it was kind of a salary that is not too high to allow me for indulgences, but not too low to deprive me of small vices like manga.

My salary savings for three years ended up being used by me for various things - I managed to buy my own shoes (three leather and two rubber and one sneaker), my own sports clothes and balls, bags, office clothes, my netbook, my mp3 players, 93 manga volumes, Christmas money, monthly groceries, helping to fund my sisters' tuition and allowances, and the like. I'd like to think I should have saved some money off those three years but thinking more of it I couldn't have these bags or shoes or t-shirts if they stayed in money form at my savings account. And my sisters are doing good at school, so I feel a bit of happiness that most of it went to a very good cause.

... and 93 manga volumes. So much for small vices :3

But I just got a pay raise from my agency a month ago. Essentially increased my salary by more than double the original, since my job title was promoted to a "IT consultant".

So I decided to split my pay into three. First cut would go directly to a savings account, second would be for family-related expenses, and third (adding to it the 1% remaining off 100/3) would be for my personal expenses such as travel and vices. I thought I had it all planned out.

When September started, I came back to my notepad, counting how much is left and what I can finally deposit into my savings account. Turns out I misappropriated some of the money due to my own carelessness. It was the rainy season and I had extreme difficulty at travel so I started using taxis more frequently than usual, which helped drain a huge amount from my travel money. I also ran amok on buying manga, since I saw a Fully Booked branch that past month and saw their huge rack section for manga and it had a lot of series with Volume 1's and Tokyopop volumes on them, I lost control buying a boatload of manga that day. Other family expenses also occurred that month simultaneously, so I was left with less money to start a new savings account.

I realized I have to be strict now with my budget. Well, it's a start - I learned that salary increases are a doozy for a newbie like me. Spending beyond my means will doom me, and I have to shape up quick. And I'll have to talk with my family about my expenses with them - I don't want to turn into a human blank check. I'll note which expenses I have to shoulder and which ones I won't.

Learning, learning. Still on the school of hard knocks, I suppose :)

My OCDs? Quite a few come up, but this one is my most notable.

I always tell my family and friends never to attempt to clean my room, or move anything in it unless I'm in the room with them. I tend to have an eidetic memory when it comes to my room's contents - any alterations without my knowledge I can spot immediately, and it irritates me to no end when it happens. I feel it's to my convenience that I know I can get my things where I last put them, and saving me the agony of "finding" them. My room is an ecletic mess, but I won't have it any other way.

Last year I seriously blew my top when my dad nonchalantly rearranged my entire room and threw my coupon collection box in the garbage drum.

- Second season of Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi. Should be fun.
- Maken-Ki!? Jeez, abundant breasts overload. Another serving, please. With pantyshot sauce and a dash of cuteness.
- WORKING'!! is working again. God, when will that girl stop punching?
- Guilty Crown is a VERY promising one. Give me some.
- Busou Shinki Moon Angel... OK, I'll hit that. Kind of like Infinite Stratos.
- A remake of HxH? Cool. If they can make it less cartoonish, it'll be great. I hope it's kind of like the FMA re-do.
- Fate/Zero... hm.
- Another serving of squid ink spaghetti, please.
- Persona 4 should be fun.
- Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon... could be a sleeper here, I'll surely check it out.
- Kimi to Boku should be my type of cruncher. You know, after you watch a couple of intense/serious anime episodes, you'd crave for an anime that would be light and funny to balance that.
- Mashiro-iro Symphony... I'd play the game first before watching it. I'll download it between playing.
- Last Exile:Ginyoku no Fam... if they retain the original's art design, I'd surely watch this from A to Z.
- Phi Brain bizarrely reminds me of Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro.
- Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai... meh, I'll just DL it and watch it after the autumn season's done.
- Final season of Shakugan no Shana... I hope there's some real romance in it.
- Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai should be fun... but with the overload of stuff to watch, I'll just DL it and watch afterwards if time permits.
- C3 will be one of my curiosities. The title itself kind of holds an appeal.
- Jeez... Ben-To? Japan be nuts, but this is nuts. Should be fun to watch 'tho.
- Lots of good OVAs. Hope some gets picked up.

It would have been hilarious if subtitles were there with every pointing motion they made.

Now that's cool. UFO catchers, only if you catch something. I tried my hand at those at a local arcade called TimeZone, the claws were too feeble and loose, it was a money vampire. Was able to get a few sometimes, the trick is to have the luck that the claws land and get the part of the prize that won't slip when the claws raise it. Like figure heads.

No. You will be bothered if you do care about it. If that is what makes their boats float, let them do it.

If I'm allowed a wild guess, probably you like gaming.
