Usually last night's leftover protein. Meat, fish, chicken... as long as I can sauté it quickly. Then I add diced onions, a bit of fried garlic and paprika, and add a sprinkling of chives. About a good 15 minutes if you can multitask cooking and prep work.

They're kids. Parents nowadays tell children, "don't talk to strangers", "avoid shady persons", stuff like that. Although from my experience, they lower their guard when someone has enough physical looks to make them think that person is harmless. You know, kind of like how dogs sometimes bark at one stranger and doesn't at another.
