I'm perfectly fine with most of them. They're no different than any of us, anyway.
I have preferences, though. I have more respect for gay/lesbian people that do not feel the need to crossdress or undergo a sex change.
Most gay people don't crossdress... that is almost completely dominated by STRAIGHT men. Surprise, surprise. Also, sex changes have little to do with someone's sexual orientation, but more to do with the fact that their brain is literally a different gender then their body - if this sounds strange to you, do some research on the subject instead of being a judgmental asshole towards people who have suffered a lot for something they did not choose.
Anyway, obviously I don't care. I'm very supportive of the LGBTQ community.
Apparently you have a slightly limited view of the global LGBT community. Try Southeast Asia's gay community, that's where I'm at. Have fun finding straight men crossdressing outside of a cosplay event or a costume party.
Be careful of the words you drop, kid. I tried to answer the question the best I can, the shortest I can, and with the best of intentions, and next thing I see is I get to be quoted and my words be attached next to a paragraph with "judgmental asshole" in it.
Let me expand that if you found my brevity disturbing: I have respect for all gays/lesbians. But more respect to the ones who remain comfortable with the body they're born with and what they are, because I feel that takes a particular set of self-acceptance and courage. But that preference doesn't diminish one bit the level of respect I have to the ones who crossdress or undergo a sex change - it's their decision and I can only wish for their happiness.
It may seem strange to you, but deep down inside we all prefer something over another, and that doesn't necessarily mean we are putting the lower preference in a bad light. I prefer Burger King over Wendy's but that doesn't mean I don't like to eat at Wendy's.
