IV was my first, though the box said II. Silly american translaters.
See the spoiler in my signature. If you can't see signatures... let me add the image to the post after I edit.

This is very simple to fix:1. Install XP.
There, done.
I own both and I like them both about the same. They both have their own strengths and weaknesses.
I hate these things that are "which system is better?". The only answer you should give is based on the technical capabilities since that's the only way a console can be "better" than another console.
What really matters are the games; the PSP and DS both have games that I enjoy, so I think they are about equal.

I think the kid deserves to be suspended for two reasons:
1)He's an idiot for keeping a list of people he wants dead.
2)He keeps a list of people he wants dead in an imaginary notebook from a stupid show.

I don't know what they sound like (or I do but that name != music I've heard), but I know that by the name alone I hate them.
I have to go with the one on the N64. It's the only one I've played, admittedly, but it is awesome. I haven't beat it yet, but I'm working on it (I'm in the mansion with the ghost eater guy - NO SPOILERS!!!). I bought it for the Wii on the Virtual Console a few months back and I've been playing it off and on.

You don't play Metroid for difficulty, you play it for the catharsis of being an invincible, unstoppable, killing machine, especially when Super Metroid hit. The only one that provides any sort of challenge after that is Fusion, and the part in Zero Mission where you don't have any armor, and anyone who knows anything about stealth and platforming will walk through that like it's nothing. You also play to see Samus take her armor off.I play for challenge because it proves your worth and what skills you have.
You're playing the wrong games then buddy. Metroid is all about exploration and discovery and not shooting.
Also, why are you comparing Metroid to Megaman? Both of those series have nothing in common.
I guess I'll post even though most people probably know who I'm going to say. I'll give you a second to think about it.
Done thinking?
I'd be Link (preferably the "old" Link). If you need to know why... well bottom line is this: he's awesome.

This is one game i might buy a new computer to be able to play.I'm guessing you don't have a console... I think it's going to be better on the console because of the analogue stick unless you have one for your PC cuz playing PoP on PC with keyboard was a bitch...
I have every episode of Doug on DVD. Eat it.
That is, the Doug episodes that were before they moved to Disney. After the Doug movie it all went poopy.

Personally I don't like any of the older Metroid games. I do however really enjoy the Prime games that came out for the GCN/Wii. I've played the first and last prime games and they are really good (haven't beaten either because I'm still not that much of a Metroid/Sci-fi fan).
The graphics didn't change much between the first Prime and the last one, but the Wii isn't that much stronger than the GCN anyway.
