It has to be from an actual series that we can verify, and it has to be a fictional character. (You can't claim Trump or Michael Jordon)
First claim gets the waifu.
You cannot edit a post if you didn't win your waifu to try and get another one.


Here's the twist: You have to provide a link or phrase to a google search of that character. That character is worth the amount of hits the search has divided 1000.

You have points already, everyone gets +200 pity points. You add the amount of post you've made on the forum, the comment upvotes you have and the reputation points you have. There are multiple ways to get more points after the start of the game.
1. Post more in non-ctfg sections.
2. Make a thread outside CTFG, if it gets discussion rolling with more than 5 unique posters besides yourself, you get 100 points for each thread, with a limit of 3 threads.
3. Selling an acquired waifu for more points than she's worth after claiming her.
4. Pity points if you and another person try and claim the same waifu within 3 minutes of each other and you lose. You get 10 points for your effort.

If I catch you or someone trustworthy says you're randomly shitposting in other sections for points, I may make your most current claim invalid. So please try to make meaningful contributions to the forums.

Every 3 posters who post after me can make a 10% discount rule for the next round. I will verify the discount rules for the first 3 posters in the Discussion thread.

Expanding on the waifu selling I mentioned earlier.
You can claim a waifu for the purpose of selling her.
You can sell her at a max of +30% of her worth according to google hits.
You have to agree with the buyer.
You can divorce your waifu but you don't get your points back.


Round 1 discounts!
1. If your claimed character is non-human or non-human like.
2. If your character was inspired by a real life historical figure. (Fate doesn't count)
3. If your character claimed has a foodie.

Rounds will generally start every Friday from today. (August 4th)
You can claim multiple waifus if you missed out on the start of previous rounds. After 4, round 5 will be 2 weeks later with round 5 lasting till the start of a new game if people are still interested in that.

I was going to get that a Fanime but decided to against it and bought some artbooks. Also had a chance at AX but kinda forgot.

Probably wouldn't sell it though. Hate scalpers and it's a pretty neat book anyways.
