Swords of Concealing Light are actually one of the staples of Ghostrick afaik, they combo nicely with Mansion. That's why I said that Ghostrick win by cherry tapping, you go for direct attacks via Mansion effect (Yuki-Onna helps too).
That said, it's also true that the deck itself is low-tier at best, and that the main appeal of the cards is that they're adorable.
On a side note, I tried Evilswarm for the lulz and they are good, first turn Ophion with adequate defense can win games. And first turn Ophion is very easy to drop (Castor, Kerykeion, Mandragora).

I know what they do, I don't get why many people ask about them AND why Jack o' Lanter and Mary are so overpriced (12-15€ apiece on eBay).
That said, they're an interesting archetype: drop Mansion, defend with a ton of cards today's pr0s don't even know (Magic Cylinder, Dimensional Wall, Swords of Concealing Light) and then win by slooow cherry tapping. How good is that? :D

Guys, out of curiosity: why the Ghostrick hype?
I've seen some cards floating around 10-15€ each on eBay, yet I still have to understand what's the point of that deck, aside the fact that the artworks are adorable.
I met them only once on DN, while taking Harpies for a test run, and wrecked the poor guy completely (then again, a turn 1 Dracossack with set stuff for defense IS a bit of a pain).
...of course, if they turn out to be actually competitive, it would be awesome to play them and go "Uu~ uu~ if you don't give me sweets, I'll play a prank" on the opponent. :p

*butting in*The WT-TD line ,or with the JPzE100 line?
Since im currently on the Jagdtiger (that damn tall scyscraper..cant even hide in bush properly >_>)
If you already have Jagdtiger, either keep it or get JPz E-100. Keep in mind that they're gonna nerf most Tier 10 TDs, and that the WTF E-100 is one of them (for the first time I agree to a nerf, Foch 155 and WTF are just stupid).

Only thing now is to work a recipe out.If you want it easy, just netdeck something and then tweak it how you please. I learned how to deckbuild that way, and I'm doing it again since I've been away from the game for years.

EDIT: Also 8.11 tomorrow. I could care less lol because I'm waiting for 9.0, that's going to be amazing.
You a Soviet fan? :P
Still, that SU-122-44 match was impressive, nice collection of medals.
DEVpro = none, I don't use that
Dueling Network = pihip
EDIT: Currently, due to unknown issues between the new router and my pc, my internet connection crashes randomly (can hold for hours, or crashes every few minutes), so if you duel with me, be aware of this.

Longest I've ever bothered to read was Blue Eyes by Tohru Nishimaki - same story with same characters, nine volumes and still unfinished.
Don't remember anything else that long atm, sorry.

Abundance is really more of a last-resort trump card for me lelSo I take it I'm the only one who uses the Gravi-Magna brothers?
I don't get it, why would you leave your main win condition as a last resort? Rainbow Dragon might be cool and all, but it's a 4k vanilla nowadays, plus it's far quicker to set up for Abundance than wait and wait and wait to drop Rainbow Dragon, only to get it blown off the field by anything.
Anyway, I kinda want to test Sylvan a bit, I was even hoping of building the deck, but LOLNO Marshalleaf cost like 25$ each, for unknown reasons. <_<
That, and I still lack a ton of Xyz Monsters.
Random people who just happen to enjoy anime, manga and related stuff as a hobby are not otaku - those who make that stuff their lifestyle are otaku.
The term is misused IMHO, as it became a placeholder name for "everyone who reads manga or watches anime or collects Japanese merchandise", at least as far as I know.
Miyazaki is a filmmaker, so he deals with stuff that is completely different than your average anime, I can understand his concern but please don't tell me he's in only for the art - if he didn't make money out of his movies, he would've stopped a lot of time ago.

woooah O.OI run Crystal beasts IRL too.
But i play Chaos and madolche online <3
Muh nigga
I lack sapphire Pegasus and the big rainbow boss IRL tho
That shit the only thing I can play other than saga of blue eyes
Rainbow Dragon is useless, Gem Beasts win via Crystal Abundance and/or Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder.
Also Sapphire Pegasus is mandatory in that deck, it's like the most important Gem Beast of the lot along with Topaz Tiger.

I'm stocking free exp for that tier 9 PZ4 TD. I want that. And currently I'm at Nashorn xDJust skip Sturer Emil (Pz.Sfl. V) and grind the Rhm. Borsig normally. As far as results tell, it's an awesome TD (top gun of Jagdpanther II and Ferdinand as stock gun, can mount the E-100 top gun with less pen but same damage, awesome camo, but no armor). Also, it's one of those rare tanks that consistently make results in most matches, so long as the driver isn't a moron.

Trailer with shitty English dubs. Pretty much ear-rape in my opinion.Spoiler:
The dubs seem alright IMHO.
Then again, hearing Mamiko Noto's insane laughing as Three or Zero/One screaming bloody murder at each other is JP VA's exclusive stuff.

Kojima's taking the piss with this. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, while repetitive in nature, probably offered as much or more content than this will, and Ubisoft charged $15 for it. There is no excuse for charging any more than that for what is basically a tutorial. Fuck fanboyism. Imagine MGS2's tanker mission being sold separately from the big shell story at a premium. I suggest watching a let's play of GZ to prepare for Phantom Pain. Spare your wallet, if this ultimately has barely enough content to even be considered an expansion, don't buy the fucking thing.Wait a second, so basically Ground Zeroes will be just a small prequel to the main game, and it will be sold as a game unto itself anyway?
What kind of bullshit is that? I remember being outraged when I discovered that to fully complete Asura's Wrath you had to download the final levels, but this is beyond ridiculous.
Do they take us for idiots that much?
As a real life deck, I have lots of 4funs (Gem Beast among them, though I'm missing a Rare Value) and Blackwings, plus a ton of remnants from now-defunct decks that don't work anymore.
I would love to try Harpies, but can't afford Big Eye and Dracossack, stupid cards just cost so much. Gaia Dragon could be a placeholder, but nowhere near as effective.
So anyway, if anyone wants to duel, we might talk about it on Skype, just ask for the contact.

Got me the Pz. slf. V, and I must say, the tank is a bitch at stock. The tank itself isn't bad, it just has a naturally slow speed, a tiny gun traverse, the best gun depression you will ever witness, and a stock gun that does about the same damage as the Nashorn. All in all, this tank is more of a downgrade from the Nashorn at the moment, and the fact is all the more painfully obvious when you need a total of 66k xp to get the upgraded gun, 56k for the gun itself, and another 8 for the tracks to fit the thing on.The tank itself isn't bad, but it's easy for you to get spotted, especially when you have to move in order to track targets because of the crap gun traverse. Other than that, play it as any other sniper, and take advantage of it's gun depressions if you ever have to peak over hills.
In other words, it's more powerful version of Dicker Max? xD
Slower, much bigger, much less camo (T30 level camo).
Only saving grace is the top gun, which however is exceptionally costly in terms of exp (58500 afaik) and has very low ammo count (15 shells total).
Stock gun is pretty much the same as Dicker Max, a tier higher.
Why PS3 exclusive. ;___________;
I saw some gameplay on youtube and, while I believe the controls can be a bit wonky, the characters and all the shit that happens between Zero and Mikhail more than makes up for that.

About the metagame, while I'm extremely ignorant about the CURRENT one, I do know that I miss the old times. I did play a few "high tier" decks (Tele-DAD, Lightsworn, Gladiator Beasts, etc.), yet the funniest ones I had were two above others: a Counter Gravekeeper which ran triple Van'Dalgyon among other things and a bizarre Earth/Dark deck which ran on Monarchs (Caius and Granmarg) and Vanity's Fiend, Royal Oppression and, as a surprise for everyone, Evil Hero Dark Gaia (the day I brought it to a tourney, people didn't even know what Koa'ki Meiru Guardian was).
So yeah, I enjoyed anti-meta decks a lot, because they were cheaper (well, so long as you had your set of Solemn Judgment and Dark Bribe, among other things) and you could troll the opponent who, most of the time, didn't even know what a first turn Royal Tribute meant. :P
With Konami limiting-banning almost everything related to that kind of deck, the one I like the most as of now is Noble Knight - RotA at 1 hurts it, but the stupid survivability of the Noble Arms is just ridiculous (and yes, there's still people who waste MST on them while Noble Knights are on the field). If it was a cheap deck I would gladly start playing again, but alas, it seems that every single new deck of today needs a ton of costly cards.
Well, there's Dueling Network, it's for free, so I'm not complaining.
