Lol Freddy.. that's one unexpected Character DLC.

Yes, any profile in the console can "share" the DLCs, it's legal and it applies to all game DLCs, so it's not just Mass Effect.

With that in mind my local game community made a large share community where we can share DLCs that we bought together.

Basically any purchase of DLC or game can be downloaded to only 5 different consoles under one share account, so our community used that to buy DLCs and games for a very cheap price because we split the cost to 5 people. The moderating is pretty strict since it's a community built on trust, and the share account can easily be leaked to another person who doesn't pay for the DLC.

But this share community is pretty effective and everyone with a PS3 can join.

So, if someone is "using" your DLC, you should without your consent, you are free to ask payment for at least 1/5 of the original price to use your DLCs. It depends on you though to set on the rules.
