Usually to blame is the Studio handling the titles.
While the original VN can be a "mind blowing" experience with good story/comedy/ whatever makes it popular. But there's no guarantee that any adaptation is good.
-IT's always a difficult task to adapt a 30-50 hours material that usually have more than 1 route into one linear story. This is where most studio production flops.
-And there's the problem with multiple heroines VNs like To Heart 2 and Comic Party. Most of the studios will keep in mind to actually spread the story to far so that every heroine has their own episode, resulting in a very thin story. And to makes things worst they never gave a proper ending.
-And there's also the "Make it into a ecchi anime" Syndrome, like Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai
Ones that were really good when compare to the original:
Yosuga no Sora : Like you said, it's like the game. With it's omnibus style story, we can actually enjoy "ALL" the routes individually.
Amagami SS : Same as Yosuga no Sora, it uses an omnibus system. But the story is purely romance.
Steins;Gate :It sticks very closely to the original script which is already great to begin with, so the result is a great anime.
Other than the ones that I mention it's usually just so-so or just straight out a horrible adaptation.
Honestly, mostly the ones you listed as bad, was originally good as a VN. There's a reason why I use a character from Comic Party as a Avatar for the rest of my life. lol
Tsukihime, the original VN is indeed very bloody. Too bad you can't like Clannad/Kanon/Air
-------
No, the anime doesn't ruins the original VN. It will probably just ruin your motivation and trust.
The original VNs are already released way ahead of the anime adaptation so there's no way the anime will ruin the VN that's already well received before hand.

花巻 も㓠(Hanamaki Moko)Can you help me find any information about that voice actress? i cannot find anyone that goes by that name, already Googled it, i need info like what other hentai titles and characters she has voiced. Thank You ^_^
I can't find them either, Hentai voice actors are not so open about their careers. Many of them uses Aliases under another alias.
I got this name from the character's profile in MAL.

Being fluent and half Japanese, It bewilders me when someone tells me they use a hook and machine translate the visual novel. How could you enjoy the VN like that? I mean, if you used Rikai-chan for hiragana and a dictionary, maybe that'd help you learn Japanese while slowly reading the VN, but how is reading the whole thing through machine translation enjoyable at all?
It actually depends on the people itself. It's all about the hard work that you pour into it in the end.
For me it gets the job done, and I've actually used it for 3 years before "retiring" from it. Did I enjoy it? Yes. The fact that I can play untranslated Japanese VNs was already a mindblowing thing back then. After finding it out, I played VNs like a madman tried almost every untranslated ones that I can get.
Of course it's not all fun and play, since I had to become a linguist and try very hard to make each lines make sense by changing some of the words and rearranging it myself so that I can understand the sentence and in the end the story. FYI, in those days I was self-studying Japanese.
After those 3 years, I've had enough experience to play a VN so that I don't need to use it. How did I survive that experience? It's because I always keep in mind that "I'm actually putting some effort into something that I love."
and I honestly don't like the wait for translations.
So, it's worth is relevant to your motivation to actually use it. If you just install and try it, without trying to "understand it" hoping for a short cut, you'll get disappointed.
