On the question about using older software - Right click and hit properties -> compatibility tab. The dropdown box should all the way back to Windows 95. See if running on a past version helps. It may also be that it requires a Japan locale.
Edit: If nothing works you can always spin up a virtual machine running what ever version runs best with the game.

Some are because the change on how the url work now but months of post when bye bye when Jacob tried to impregnated the server. A gif was made. Meme was created. I lost both to puu.sh.
Also this happens more then you thing.
So that's where that gif came from.. I always wondered how that came to be.

Edit Edit: The reason you are having problems with searching is most likely because you aren't using Caps.

don't forget using "Tag1, -Tag2" <- add a "-" and it will remove anything with that tag from your search.
