Always, ALWAYS keep trying to get the music you like and want the world to experience out there.
My DJ friends around here are struggling with the same thing.
My one friend worked at a goth/industrial club. But he plays more noise and likes to also include in new tracks (since all the regulars just want to live in the 80's, apparently). I mean, old music is good...but there comes a point where you got to get in the newer stuff.
Anyways, he would more often ignore requests (often saying he's not a jukebox) and would instead continue to expose people to how awesome and fun noise is as well as new tracks for the goth/industrial genre.
He was told he would have a month break (the club owner is pretty much a huge bitch). And, instead, he quit.
It was rough for him.
But now him and my other friend have started their own, brand new night at a different bar and have had excellent feedback. And they're going to continue to spin what they want and what they know people need to hear.
So keep going.
Don't give up.
You have my support.

Why is there so many piercing haters? D=I think they're great. Piercings on a girl is a huge turn on. Not a requirement, but a turn on. I also like people with tattoos. (I'll be getting one soon).

It is very odd how many Fakkers don't find piercings/tattoos appealing. A bit unnerving.
