Part of me says that a scenario such as portrayed here has a better chance of happening in the H-Universe than in so-called real life, without any potentially unwanted consequences.

Just IMHO; I think even by the close, it's still too soon to apply the Vanilla tag to this story, as both Eri and Sougo might still be sorting out their feelings towards each other, even if they're portrayed as having great "physical" chemistry (know-what-I-mean).
Still, story is cute enough that I wouldn't mind one day getting a sequel.
