Notwithstanding what at first glance might be interpreted as the artist's desire to portray (putting it politely) a "big male x tiny female" scenario, by the end, elf FMC (Elemia) decides to effectively poison herself so she can live and perhaps die around the same time as when male MC (Luke) might exit their world.

Looks like MC (Kaa-kun) is wearing two hats, simultaneously ..... "LUCKY" Bastard and "UNLUCKY" Bastard.
