I'd bring a laptop/PC with tons of books on it. I'd actually read literature, interspersed with sci-fi/fantasy classics to relax (real classics like Moorcock or Heinlein, not pointless soap).
...I'd also go on a diet and finally get back in shape. Since the world wouldn't leave me behind I'd have time to learn and train. I'd probably spend 3-5 days in there. (Learn engineering, computing (several languages), chemistry, maybe math and physics if I finally wrap my head around them. Brush up and finally polish my Russian. Learn Japanese).

Is the network (the cables, etc.) under your control or do you live in flats and the network is operated by the apartment? Connectivity issues under Windows can be ridiculous unless you operate a (file/print/domain) server as there are way too fucking many things that can be screwed up.

Ever since the Cold War ended the quality of terrorism is in decline. With no superpower to arm and train them (against the other super power and its client states) their methods have become cruder and the quality of men have degraded.
Terrorists face a double-edged dilemma: to be effective they need organization and various talents. However the more organized they get, the higher the chances of being discovered and infiltrated.
All in all I wouldn't say that terrorism has become more sophisticated or effective over the last 20 years - in the places where it happens more it is usually highly overlapped with defensive guerrilla warfare - whereas we see less and less effective international offensive efforts like 9/11.
...the main problem though is that the western world is hooked on fear and the media plays it up to eleven. Our leaders also exploit the situation the grab ever more power under the pretext of security. Terrorism has also become a buzzword and an easy reason to deal harshly and dumbly with complicated situations. It was never well defined to begin with and one man's freedom fighter is another's bloody terrorist:

...so your picture about what is terrorism, what is actually effective against it is likely really opaque and fuzzy. In the place of concise judgment and honest measures we have a massive security theater that's meant to convince us that those in power are doing *something* and to make us *feel* secure (but actually do little to make us more secure than we would be in the first place).
The greatest problem with this theater is that we're achieving the objective of the terrorist for them instead combating it.

Let me introduce you to the only effective anti-rape device with a proven track record:

...a gun. Since it holds the potential to kill the perpetrator and kill him right now (so it's not about him realizing what the far future consequences of his actions *might* be), it's the most effective deterrent.

This is highly relevant:

Conventional Wisdom About Risk
Most of the time, when the perception of security doesn't match the reality of security, it's because the perception of the risk doesn't match the reality of the risk. We worry about the wrong things: paying too much attention to minor risks and not enough attention to major ones. We don't correctly assess the magnitude of different risks. A lot of this can be chalked up to bad information or bad mathematics, but there are some general pathologies that come up over and over again.
In Beyond Fear, I listed five:
* People exaggerate spectacular but rare risks and downplay common risks.
* People have trouble estimating risks for anything not exactly like their normal situation.
* Personified risks are perceived to be greater than anonymous risks.
* People underestimate risks they willingly take and overestimate risks in situations they can't control.
* Last, people overestimate risks that are being talked about and remain an object of public scrutiny.
Flying hits several of these rough rules and therefore its risks is severely exaggerated.
EDIT: Fuck - Quotes are not working either.

How about this:
-The system goes on-line with a pre-approved list of tags.
-New tags have to be approved by admins/moderators.

Two new tables will have to be added to the current database.
One tracks what tags there are, the other is about giving tags to various manga through their ID.

Does you AMP support digital input? If yes you might try sending the sound via SPDIF.

NO. I said there is nothing casual about "casual gaming"...
...it's just that most developers put their shit team on Wii versions instead making a proper game for the platform.

The whole game was a lot bigger than 4 MBytes, it's just that it didn't install much stuff from the CD. (I also happen to have a copy).

Behold, my little monster:

EDIT: If you bothered to check, you could have noticed that she has grown a bit. Now she's a complex headache, but she should be able to track everything you want to know about a specific file or translation (...or even author).
Right now I'm moving her to MySQL and developing a frontend to query her.

Actually the player that can play almost anything is Mplayer. It supports a load more things than either VLC or CCCP. With Mplayer I could play corrupted, fragmented files in arcane formats (the results of direct conversions to ancient formats from VCR or camcorder).
...however it's not for the faint of heart and it's GUI versions leave a lot to be desired. To really get your time's worth you need to use it in command line mode and the average user will give up long before they get anywhere with it.
So if you just want to watch files, use CCCP. It's simple, supported and powerful.
If you need something powerful that allows you to dive into the bowels of the files, then familiarize yourself with Mplayer.

Nah, we have quite a way to go to catch up with either Hongfire or Animesuki.
Being the no. 1 site for Hentai, yeah, maybe. All things related to anime, manga? Not likely.

Is it only the sound that stutters or the video too?
-If it's the video too, then it's another problem and you'll either need to install CoreAVC or get a better videocard that can the H264 decoding can be offloaded to.
-If it's just the audio, then you should check your ffdshow-audio filter in your start menu. Go into the codecs tab and check whether AAC is set to "libfaad2". If not, set it like that and see if it helps.
UPDATE:
I did some browsing and others seem to have experienced the same problem under Windows 7. (I couldn't find out what causes it).
Create a new account and see if the problem persist if you use that one. If not, than it is something account specific that borks playback for you.
UPDATE 2:

UPDATE 3:
http://www.cccp-project.net/wiki/index.php?title=Issues:Stuttering_Audio
It could be that the file was improperly encoded. In that case CCCP recommends you install CoreAAC:
http://www.rarewares.org/aac-decoders.php#coreaac
Once you installed the filter, you'll have to once again go into CCCP-->ffdshow-audio-->Codecs and this time set AAC to "disabled".

I had the same problem.
If you have a lot of media files, Windows 7 starts making thumbs for all those files, which leads to enormous disk i/o.
Just let it finish.
I also disabled indexing on all my media drives, as it was crippling my disks performance.
MS stated indexing wouldn't affect performance, but that's BS.

OK. Here's the next part. Try running these files again.
When the file is loaded up, right-click and select Properties-->Details Tab.
Copy & Paste what you see there into the forum.
That way we'll know what sort of audio/video or combination is actually giving you trouble. (I have a feeling that it's not CCCP that actually decodes mp3, and since windows update tends to "downgrade" your built-in codec it can result in weird stuff).

Jacob made a statement over here.
In a nutshell:
If the manga/doujin depicts clearly prepubescent characters doing H-things it has to go.
If they're flat-chested/developing but clearly (post)-pubescent than the manga/doujin can stay.
...so your F/SN mango are safe and so are your Ishikei depiction of small busted high-school girls fellating your improbably average (for his babe magnetism) hero stand in.

Hellsing's Hirano Kouta also started out as an eromangaka.
You should read Coyote from him, you'll be surprised how familiar the whole things feels - badass mercenaries, complete monster bad guys, psychotic good guys... all in all a lot like Hellsing but with a lot more sex and fanservice.
