For my third waifu, I pick Hanekawa Tsubasa from Bakemonogatari. A bit of a break from my kuudere streak, Hanekawa has three traits that just left me with a goofy look on my face every time I saw her. She's always helpful, and although not as big a tease as Senjougahara, she can still poke some fun at you. Third, she's a book worm, and I love book worms...and her physique. But hey; can't have cake without icing right?

I assume it just starts with one image, probably of her with another chick from pokemon. Other artists see it, and are thus inspired to make more yuri stuff of Cynthia.

I claim Anya Alstreim from Code Geass. She's the first kuudere I saw, and though I didn't know what the hell a kuudere was at the time, I liked her for being so...cold, and then learning she had a softer side to her. I swooned immediately. Bonus points for DFC.

Honestly though, why does this shit bother me so much, it's not like I love the character less.

It's just a hypothetical question.

If EU attacked America, I think it would be the same as if China tried to do it. As KoI described, crossing an ocean for an invasion is no easy task. Sure they could hopscotch across Iceland and Greenland, but we would still bomb the shit out of the EU as they moved along. The RAF is no longer the #1 Air Force in the world, and the Royal Navy no longer master of the Seven Seas.

Of course I'm sure that eventually EU would reach the coast, but again like KoI said, the logistics of keeping an occupying force from across an ocean would be a nightmare. Any sort of invasion would have to be precluded my preemptive strikes to completely destroy any chance for us to launch an aerial counterattack, and seeing as how EU has no stealth fighters or bombers, we would shoot them down as quickly as they took off.

And then with the Navy. Our subs can go dark for months at a time if they needed to, and then just pop up off in the middle of the English channel like they've been there forever.

But hey, America isn't invincible. We're just ungodly stubborn.

Speaking as an American, it would be practically impossible to conquer the entire country if it was simply mano y mano. Even China, with it's 4.5M man Army, would likely find itself stopped near the Midwest. Military conscription would be brought back so fast that we would easily multiply our current active duty forces by at least 4 times. Add that on top of the so called 'gun toting patriots' (I like to call them paranoid gun maniacs, but whatever) and China will find itself in a very, very ugly war. Guerrilla warfare would quickly become a norm amongst large portions of the civilian populace who didn't get drafted. At this point, it would just be an eternal struggle of wills, because I don't see China giving up at any point in time, and America would nuke parts of it's own country before we let the Chinese keep it.
