The worst part is that only Legion and Miranda weren't Loyal,
Spoiler:
What fight between Miranda and Jack?... well I guess that Bioware was true to their word when they said no 2 players will experience the same thing.

Playing it now.. As a huge fan of the original, honestly, I'm gonna have to say 'meh' - and that says a lot if you recall ME1 being my favorite game of all time. It's not that it's bad it's just I feel like they've dumbed it down gameplay wise and the story seems like a kick in the balls throwing the old characters away and just having everyone 'ignore the reapers'. The old characters may or may return I don't know I'm only up to the krogan mission. Let me say this now, my opinions not final, but so far, meh.How can you say.. no, how dare you say they're not focusing on the Reapers in this one... the story is even more related to them than in ME1, but I guess you'll find that out as you progress deeper into the game.
And they're not throwing away the characters from the 1st game... 2 of them join your squad, while the others are minding their own business after Shepard's 2 year absence, and they even give you some missions. And Bioware has stated that all characters will be in ME3 and each will have their role in the plot.... you will even be able to continue your romance with a ME1 character in ME3 if you so choose.
And gameplay-wise, I think ME2 is better because it's a bit more fast-paced than ME1, but overall it's like the first one with a few improvements and some new tweaks.

Wow, just finished it, and what a fucking ending.Spoiler:
I can not wait for 3. Also how do you save everyone on the final mission?
Pfffhahahaha, how can someone only have 2 people survive hahahahaha... sorry it's just too funny. I mean just make sure every1 is loyal... Like I said, I finished it without any1 dieing.
Spoiler:
Anyway, one of the most epic stories and endings I've ever enjoyed in a video game. Bioware is the best at story-teling.

^ Seriously who ever plays as a good guy.Everyone knows that the bad guy is always always the most fun to play.
I played ME1 and ME2 full Paragon... mainly because you can't be too good in real life, and expect to get anywhere unfortunately... at least we got that satisfaction in games.:)... imo it's always better to be a good guy.
I finished it with 53 hours of gameplay, with my imported character, all galaxy explored, all resources, upgrades, secondary quests and no one dead at the end of the mission. FUCKING EPIC!!! Starting 2nd playthrough. Definately one of the best game franchises i've ever played :)

Just finished ME2.For the record: time was 23:54. Total play time: about 18 hours or so.
All i can say: "FUKKEN EPIC!!!11111"
Game is short, comparing to the first one.
But this is better.
When third one will come out? I WANNA MOAR!!
Spoiler:
It just means you did the main missions only... explore all the galaxy, get all resources and secondary missions and you'll end up with 60 hours of gameplay easily.
By the way, how many of you saved the Rachni Queen in ME1?... not going to spoil anything, but if you did you'll get some important hints about ME3. :P
Onimusha 1 and 3... although it's one of the best video game series I've played, it annoyes me that in both games, you get the Bishamon Sword at the VERY END, right before the last boss. While in Onimusha 1, you get it and can kill the last boss with it (roughly 5-10 mins of gameplay at most), Onimusha 3 is a bit worse in that you get the sword (which story-wise, you should have gotten in the 1st game) and it doesnt even let you actually play with it aside from dark realm before Nobunaga's house(which you have already completed to get it). I mean you get the sword, take 5 seconds to walk to the door and then you get in True Oni Form, and you can't use the sword... Stil one of the best games I've played, however.
Wanted to ask you guys if you can suggest some good anime movies to watch... I'm looking for drama, romance, high-school, harem, comedy, slightly sci-fi or any combination of those. Looking for something similar to "the girl who leapt through time".
Watched all Clannad material, so no point in suggesting that (and I highly doubt anything can surpass it).
Also, anything with mythological creatures and samurai is welcome. :D
I remember seeing a touching movie, but forgot the name... something about a samurai who was wounded and was found and treated in a castle by an ancient witch of some sort who was not allowed to have feelings, but fell in love with him and in the end they both turned into doves after a battle with the people of a village near the castle... if someone could remember seeing something like that I'd appreciate it. :)

On another note, assuming that vampire's do gain powers when they consume victims, Seras has shown that you only need to have drank the blood of one person to have access to all that power. Assuming this, it can easily be stated that Alucard is just as powerful as he was before, just with less familiars at his disposalWell, by what you say, you automatically imply that Seras (after consuming Pip) is just as powerfull as Alucard, which is total bogus! She became a full fledged No-Life King yes, but she can't even touch the power of the most ancient vampire.
Indeed, retaining all his powers except the vast armies of familiars seems credible. Also I did a bit of snooping and came to the conclusion that none of his powers are linked to the number of victims he consumed. His familiars are there only to be summoned and to prolongue his existance, and thats why he doesn't age.
His immortality is directly linked to his consumed victims... basically, his immortality is limited by the number of familiars he has, but since he has so many it's hard to determine how much longer he has to live, and thus he's been catalogued as "immortal" and "un-aging". After all, he said it himself: "There is no such thing as true immortality".
It's highly possible that he retained all his powers and invincibility/invulnerability, but it makes me wonder if he could be aging normally without his familiars.
The only anime I watch the OPs and EDs at has to be Clannad + After Story. Those are the best openings and endings I've EVER seen in ANY show of ANY kind, and the series definately won me over. Nothing is ever going to top Clannad in my opinion.
The time traveler's wife - 9k/5
One of the best romance movies I've ever seen, it had me crying at some bits and in the end. Really a wonderfull movie, I recommend it to everyone.

We seem to be forgetting the fact that for over 500 years, Alucard was in the service of the Hellsing family. In those 500 years, they conducted various experiments and modifications on him.You got that wrong, Alucard is 500-600 years old (562 to be exact). He's been in Hellsing's service since Abraham van Hellsing defeated him as Count Dracula, and founded the Hellsing organization (which is just around 100 years old, as fact and Integra herself would point out). Also, Alucard's is originally Vlad III Dracul Tepes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlad_tepes).
Also again, Alucard's powers are not due to the experimentations. At the moment of his defeat by Abraham, he was at full power (aka Level 0 released), but he was defeated by a human because he allowed himself to, as he states in the last chapters that " a monster's destiny is to forever be defeated by humans" or something. He also states that he gave Anderson lots of chances to defeat him untill he consumed the Holy Spear Head(the one that impaled Jesus), but he also became a monster because of this, thus rendering him unable of defeating Alucard.
The only result of the experimentation Alucard has undergone, are the Cromwell Seals, a way to limit his use of power (not the power itself) by placing levels of access to it that require his master's permission to be undone. Only one thing do I find uncertain in this... why would they lock him up in the cellar under the excuse of him being too powerfull to control? It must mean he found a way to bypass the limiters and regain full acces to his powers without permission. If so, then maybe he doesn't use it because of the blood pact he and Integra made, and grew to be loyal to her because of that and the mutual respect they share for one another, and because he began to understand humans and feel compasion for them.

So I think killing all those off, would just make him as he was before consuming the vast oceans of armies and people + Schrodingers ability... since Schrodinger is now his only remaining familiar.Bolded part is the key sentence here, this is all just your theories, and as far as i can remember there is no facts supporting them.
Indeed, I am just speculating and not stating that what I say is 100% true. As much as I'd like to think he is omnipotent, I just want some more logical arguments to strengthen that theory.
Why do I think his native abilities weren't as powerfull as in the present:
We know that all Millenium vampires are engineered, thus not genuine. The only genuine vampires mentioned in hellsing are Alucard, Seras, the priest and possibly the two punks (Seras' first job, although they might not be as they are too weak for fledgeling vampires, compared to Seras who was also a fledgeling at that time). So, the only "true" vampires are Alucard and Seras.
Seras grew more powerfull when she consumed Bernadotte, gaining her Alucard-like, dark red/black aura morphing ability (inferior to Alucard's though). So, in the same manner, Alucard could have developed his powers through the consumption of more and more victims. So consuming someone, would improve his native powers to an extent, therefore granting him immeasurable power (in the present), having consumed countless enemies over the ages.

I went with option 3 but all I really care about is if they're funny which I just don't really get enough of.well ramsus your kind of chars is like Dante from Devil May Cry and i can see that why you can't get enough of it cuz me too...is also facing the same prob hahaha
I voted C4, but I'm a big fan of Dante-like protagonists as well, but in NO WAY is he simple minded. He is badass and funny, but far from being simple minded... he is actually very deep at times, capable of great emotion and intellect. He just doesn't show it :P
I know those are his powers, but he didnt have them when he first became a vampire... not to the extreme extent we know at least. He was a normal (albeit, the first) vampire in his early unlife, just as Seras is now. He became more and more powerfull over the ages, he aquired his victims powers, increasing his own with every person concumed.
So I think killing all those off, would just make him as he was before consuming the vast oceans of armies and people + Schrodingers ability... since Schrodinger is now his only remaining familiar.
I hope I'm wrong, as I'm a big fan of Hellisng and Alucard expecially, and I don't want to think he is lesser in the End, than before.

Could you give a link to the info of him returning after 20 years?Just read the last chapter.
And no, i wouldn't call him gainin true immortality weakening him, true he won't have the powers from people such as Rip Van Winkle and The Dandy Man anymore, but it's not like he needs those anyway.
So he destroyed all his powers, no more regen, no more morphing, no more familiars, no seals, no nothing... he now just has Schrodinger's power to be everywhere and nowhere? Honestly, I think that's just lame, Alucard not being the Alucard we grew accustomed to.
True, he is everywhere, but he just IS there... he can be in every atom and anywhere in the universe, but again he just IS there... he doesnt have any power over the places he's in, he just IS there... Now from what i know, that's not being OMNIPOTENT, just OMNIPRESENT.

Here is exactly what happensAnd that's all I have to say about that.
Could you give a link to the info of him returning after 20 years? Also, if he spent all those years killing all personas except himself, wouldnt that weaken him?... i mean eliminating all the victims would mean eliminating not only their conscience, but also their powers?.. so in 20 years, wouldnt that just make him a new Schrodinger?
Or does he effectively kill off their conscience, keeping all their knowledge and powers, and simply rebecoming the singular entity of his conscience?
Sorry for using "conscience" so much -.-
Also, wouldnt eliminating his victims make him unable to summon familiars?
