I watched 3 episodes of Mahoka, Miyuki was basically the worst character afaik.
Also the rule check is abundant, atleast for older users, they already know the rules so it's just inconvenient and the likeliness of you adding new rules is rather small. And if all else fails, common sense always prevails.
Also- "abundant" isn't the word you're looking for.

This is the 2nd game to have it and while it might not be perfect, people are getting the hang of it very few people didn't do it right compared to last game. It's not like it was hidden anywhere and it is a way to get people to read over all the rules to find where he stuck this game, not reading rules before posting was something you yourself had to deal with over and over again. As for making it harder to find next game that sound like a page strait out of the Waar playbook, "your complaining about this wait to you see how I can fuck with you next time." That said I don't believe he's serious about hiding it.The game is dying a a slow death and you think a rule that has a chance to prohibit more users from playing a good call? Sure the rule makes it less annoying for the 3-4 people who constantly remind users they don't have the post count to play but the benefit far outweighs that slight inconvenience. I didn't have to remind people every time, there was always a user who responded or the person was simply ignored.
Feels like you're reading the wrong playbook. All of my "fuck with them" plots involved messing with the regular and long term members, never were they designed to hinder new users. I made up for that by offering veteran incentives. Making it even harder for new people to play this game at this point is fucking retarded.
Up to you Jack but I strongly advise against this course of action. Unless you have something HUGE to bring in new people next game it would be folly to restrict people even more.
The rule check this time was to double as advertisement.
I figured- if people saw a Front Page thread with a high level of activity (mandatory posting in order to play), it would attract attention, and get more people to check it out.
By running it last minute as well, I was hoping that the combination of Front Page and Immediacy would prove a successful combination.
As evidenced- it backfired significantly.
