So you thought FAKKU-Subs was dead; the subbing department, that is. And indeed, it has been almost four months since our last release. But we're back to rock your world! On behalf of FAKKU-Subs, I present to you: Stringendo & Accelerando: Ultimatum Sera Episode #1!


It seems to me most of you have no idea how much of our spare time it takes to produce quality releases like this, so once again I'm going to rant in the front page about leaving your appreciation for the subs/scan team. We spend hours and hours of our time over several days to make sure our releases are top-notch, compared to the twenty seconds it takes for you to say "Thank You!", so please. Releases are being delayed because we are finding it more and more difficult to sit down and bang these out for you. The danger of certain members of our team leaving due to lack of motivation is very, very real, and, trust me, it will be extremely difficult to replace such talented and selfless people.

The negative stuff aside, I would like to thank Bob64, who has just suffered from some hard drive failure problems (all nine of them XD). He has just been through a lot of grief and long nights fixing them whilst timing and typesetting this episode for all of you. Gelmax has also extended a helping hand despite our long period of dormancy. Shower your love for them (and me, if you have any love leftover. XD)!

Here's some random doujins, if that wasn't enough for you. You have no idea how surprised I was to find a full-color Nodame Cantabile doujin. Eight Four, translated by takehiro, was drawn by the same artist as After Days, one of our earliest releases. And, we also have the first ever scanned True Tears doujinshi!

And oh, Jacob and I are so disappointed Rin is losing. So disappointed.

Grammar and spelling aside, this is indeed something that needs to be read beneath the surface.

Sorry it's been so long! I hope you guys haven't lost interest in this story (or the forum itself for that matter).

I'm in the process of writing the first chapter, which should prove to be quite a good bit of text. Here's a little teaser.

"A tall, mysterious looking girl emerged from the sedan. Her bright aquamarine eyes glistened in the morning sunlight while the breeze playfully lifted her long, dark hair. The thin, white cotton fabric of her shirt accentuated her ample chest, the spectacle made all the more breathtaking by the white butterfly ribbon resting at the front of her neck. The girls sighed in wonderment, while the boys reacted in various ways: some stole glances at her voluptuous hips while talking to their friends, some waved to her in vain, and some were taking pictures with their cameras. Such was the attention she, the most desirable girl in the entire school, elicited."

I really like your third one; pencil seems to be your thing. For the first one, you might've been better off leaving it penciled. Keep going and let's see how this goes! +1 rep.

These are really good; +1 rep. I'm loving the Akiha, although I'd prefer her to have a slightly more voluptuous body and a sterner look. They're on the level of most Japanese doujin CGs I've seen, or even better. If you started a blog you definitely would not be deficient of visitors.

Not bad at all. Very action-packed, but a bit short. But apart from that and a few grammatical errors, it's worth keeping tabs on.

Hahah that wasn't really the point. XD I was trying to see if the system worked if I used Japanese, and it did, miraculously well. It's also one of the reasons why I didn't type too much.

Ah, yeah. I was typing it up fairly quickly, since I was worried people might start complaining about how the medium resolution downloads didn't work (it's now fixed). I was going to type omachi kudasai, then I guess I changed my mind to matte kudasai and forgot to take out the 'o'. >_< I do that sometimes in English too, and as Hibia knows, I'm a typo king.

As for how to romanize 'update', I've seen it done many ways (アープデート、アップディト、アープデイトなど), so I'm not sure. Guess I'll change it to your version.

Wonder how long it'll take for someone to translate this properly. XD
