After watching the Nintendo and Sony conferences, I gotta say, Nintendo fucking owned the previous press conferences and set the bar for Sony. Everything at Nintendo was epic (I mean that in the way they presented it): The music was epic, the presentation of games was epic, and the "NO MO GLASSES, NIGGA", was epic. But, Sony looked at that shit, and said, "OH YEAH!?" Reggie was bragging about 3D in his hands, while making a bunch of claims, and Sony said, "Oh yeah, motherfucker? We're gonna show 3D to our audience LIVE!" Nintendo tried to show off the new Zelda game. Sony said, "Oh yeah!? We're gonna show our new magic game with better graphics and without this pussy "interference" nonsense." Nintendo has asians who could hardly speak english. Sony's asian spoke english well. Sony must have had a good circle jerk back stage.
Sony > Nintendo
EA in 3rd place
P.S., Ubisoft's host should learn how to be funny without being an annoying cock like Kevin butler.
P.P.S., Sony shouldn't be talking shit about how their PSP is so badass. 3DS > PSP

You better have learned your lesson, motherfucker. Touch another one of jacob's virgin relatives again and it's going to be permanent.

where we knew all the attributes of whatever object. As I stated earlier, probability exists only in the unknown.Oh no, I agree with that, it's just that the Einstein quote was pretty off, especially in the context I pointed out which Einstein used it in.
Like yourself, I don't believe in the kind of fate that is made to sound as if there is some intelligence at work, molding our futures; the supernatural kind of fate. I see fate as just another word without any mysticism attached to mean "we are deterministic".

Thought this was a pretty neat idea back in the entertainment section, so let's see how well it works here. In case this is a duplicate thread, I'd like a link to the original.
Simple rules: give the name of the game, write at least one line that says what you thought about it, then rate it. Pictures and videos are optional.
Just played Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
The graphics may be bad, but the lightsaber mechanics are awesome.
I like the mission variety in here. Each mission takes you to a different environment and the journey to finish the objective is an amusing one. Now, having played Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, this one was better in some ways, and a lot worse in others. This time around, the game lets you choose to wield a staff saber or double sabers. That's cool, especially with the new moves you could pull off. Another plus is the addition of force powers that were only available in multiplayer in Jedi Outcast, namely, Force Protect, Absorb, Sight, Drain, and Dark Rage.
On the other hand, the AI is just horrible. Enemies just stand there, sometimes actually doing nothing, even though you're about 20 feet away. This is especially true for enemy Jedi, who will literally just stare at you, waiting for you to get closer to start the battle. The plot is the same old same old, and the last boss battle is lamer than in Jedi Knight 2, which actually has a boss that makes you run away from him because he'll force rape you.
6/10.

As Einstein said, "God does not play dice".I believe he said that in denial of quantum mechanics, which concludes, that if god exists, he does play dice with the universe.
Bad logic. Even geniuses use it.

If you lack the belief that god exists, then you don't believe that he exists.Exactly. Belief =/= non-belief
StaticChange wrote...
I think you are trying to imply that disbelief is active, and lack of belief is notI don't really see what you mean by that since disbelief is lack of belief, and I'm not really implying anything beyond that as part of the definition of atheism.

That argument is better suited for the "Atheism is a religion" style arguments not the "Atheism is a belief"I don't really see what the point was in mentioning this since what I wrote was initially directed at the claim that atheism was a religion.

Personally, I understand the concept but can't apply it in my daily life, maybe because I need to grow up some more.Blame capitalism. It seems like the right thing to do.
We're on the cutting edge, bro. You see how that one guy has the other guy in his sights? Or what about that tank in the background? 3D, bro.

I just want to know how many people on Fakku actually BELIEVE they can pull that trigger if they had toIf I have to, then I will. It's fucking impossible to really predict how I will act in a situation I've never been in, but taken from experience, in situations when something MUST be done, I do it.

Ask me here, this is my thread now. What's the Rbz stand for? if anything. Or is it just a random set of letters.
It originally had something to do with my name, but there are other things I choose for it to mean:
Raging Buff Zombie
or
Risky But Zesty
Pretty much anything that can be made up.
