Also, atheism is not connected to evolution, it's just that atheists have only logic and evidence to come to a conclusion about the world, so it follows naturally that atheists would accept scientific claims. That kind of view implies that there aren't any theists that believe in evolution, which is wrong. Not only that, but your statement also implies that atheists are the only ones who base their views on science (agnostics like science too). As mentioned before atheism is a lack of belief in deities, so anything outside of that is NOT atheism.

I see what you mean, since for the longest time I've been trying to figure this agnosticism shit out. Every time I hear someone refer to themselves as agnostic, that still leaves the question in my mind, "Do you believe in god?" It's as if they equate that with the question "Does god exist?"
