I just watched a whole bunch of movies that were either written and/or directed by Kevin Smith.
Clerks - Pretty unique, great dialogue, the characters are smart. 8/10
Clerks 2 - In color, as opposed to Clerks which was in black and white. More emotional shit than in Clerks and has great vulgar dialogue. 7/10
Mallrats - More than just a simple romantic comedy because the characters are awesome (reminds me of american pie). 7/10
Dogma - Some cool god bullshit with an interesting story and a great cast. 8/10
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back - I fucking love this movie because it's my kind of comedy, that is, the vulgar kind where cursing is never off limits. Jay and Silent Bob are also badass motherfuckers in their own way. 8/10
Live Free or Die Hard - Awesome action movie with Bruce Willis doing it right. Hardest man to kill in america. Great shit. 9/10
