While it's not inyaface, like say Strike Witches (The main offender of fanservice and why I complain when there is too much and it tries way too hard) that outfit she's wearing and the blatant ass shot during the spinning camera wasn't trying a little too hard? I know it's part of the creators style and all, but at least Yoko had an excuse.
I like Fanservice in moderation, even Kodomo no Jikan landed in my favorites because it was backed by fantastic character development and plot, albeit I felt the ending wasn't all up to snuff. Being used as a crutch to sell is where I complain.

No, but it helps to do so. There are people that come for the T and A, Zom. Any show can have Fan Service and mindless action/fight scenes. If this show is character driven, which was promised by the creators, and crazy ass twists that we didn't see coming, my opinion of this anime will skyrocket.

This could actually be Japan's future, just sayin'.this anime was supposed to air in the summer season (2011) but the tsunami hit on the 11th of March and such the show got canceled do to the reactor meltdown. just watched the 1st epd. this show looks AMAZING. nice epd can't wait to see the family from the preview.
