Something similar happened to me as well. I was already quite depressed and I started watching NHK thinking it was a basket anime (also like my second or third anime series I had watched to that point). I got more depressed but pulled through at the end.

Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade
It was okay. Not as contained as the previous episode but the new girls were nice.

Death Note
It started incredibly well but lost track after a while and after L dies it becomes a mess.

Monster
Same as with Death Note. It started getting worse at around episode 30. Johan is one psycho bitch.

Non Non Biyori: Repeat
It was great just as expected.

Hibike! Euphonium
Honestly it's one of the better KyoAni series in a while. All the characters in the class has their own design which is always a plus. And the main cast feel fleshed out. I like it a lot.

Outlaw Star
It was okay.

Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (TV) 2nd Season
Pretty underwhelming better than first season in any case and the fight between Shiro and Archer was well done.

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku
Not as good as the first season and I dislike the new character designs.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka
Boring. Also from J.C Staff aka reusing weird sfx.

Try Fate/Stay Night or Katawa Shoujo.

Go to the Fakku recommends thread. There's some goodies there.

Problem with that is that .apk files can't receive updates. You'll need to re-download it every time the site undergoes major changes.

Haha, cool. English works too well in Iceland so I don't think I will ever bother to learn the language. I already understand conversational Icelandic rather well so I can do fine on my own.

Also as a movie enthusiast, I recommend watching the comedy series Næturvaktin and the sequels. I'm sure you can find them somewhere. You might even pick up a phrase or two. It's been translated into English btw.

MGSV:TPP, after almost 115 hours and 87% completion, I think I did everything. I'd give it a perfect score but the absence of the a proper conclusion is leaving a sour aftertaste. I'd still recommend it as is for anyone.

Reykjavík and Suðureyri (a tiny town near Ísafjörður). I try to visit every now and then. What about you?

A few previews and my short thoughts

Hopefully you will notice the genius of it. The author used some clever narration tricks and Shaft included a smart use of color and messed with the cinematography.

One of my all time favorites.

Check out Satoshi Kon's work. He used editing in some creative ways.

Bakemonogatari, but to be clear, it hasn't changed me, just how I view anime. And that's something I can appreciate a lot.

Bake showed how two people talking for 10 minutes straight can be interesting. Also dat cinematography.
