They buffed her up a LOT from the Loc-Tests. Her mix-up game plus the damage she gets off from it is pretty broke.
On the other hand, Shizuo got nerfed to heck as well from the Loc-Tests. Guess the that's the way it goes... :\

Gawd, this standard so versatile. So many new decks pop up every single week. I'm personally playing Jeskai Heroic Combo ATM. Loving it so far. That and I really, REALLY think that Dig Through Time is going to be banned in the near future. SO good in almost every combo deck there is in Modern. Might switch to Grixis Twin if it comes down to it because hand disruption will be quite handy when it comes down to it against combo matches.
Yeah, Standard's nice. It's pretty weird, in fact, that I'm playing a deck that barely benefits from Khans... lol. I'm still on that Mono-G-splash-U devotion list, which has been fun, except that my friend is always the one who tops with me in second place since the Mardu Midrange matchup is literally unwinninable. No amount of sideboard will help me stand ANY chance. It's why I kinda wanna try UB control again, since it's good against my store's meta, except, if someone brings monoR (there's two people who occasionally switch to that), I auto-lose that matchup, too.
Treasure Cruise, Dig Through Time, and Jeskai Ascendancy. All three are too absurd for the format, though I'd be sad to see them all gone. I love me good card draw effects, and I love me a combo deck, but damn.
I really like my Mono-U-splash-R deck, though... Dig makes it super viable... Without it, well, I can switch to Blue Moon again I guess, but that's also a bit more expensive since I don't have a full set of Moons yet, I already have 4 Digs, and I really really REALLY like casting Dig.
That said, for the time being, I need to remember to try to find room for one or two copies of Shadow of Doubt in my Mono-U. I can't seem to win reliably against Pod or Scapeshift, and it helps against both matchups. Also, I'm still trying to find room for the third Vedalken Shackles. The more I play with it, the more I wanna draw it every game. I almost wanna cut Batterskull for it, but Batterskull is too good at getting me out of a hole if I'm too low on life after I fully stabilize.
I wouldn't say so much for Cruise and Jeskai Ascendancy. They need a lot more enablers in Modern over something like Legacy, but Dig seems pretty broke considering that it looks deep for combo pieces and so much answers in the modern format. The Jeskai Eggs deck is not as viable due to it being needed on the field to do any good. That, and I think that Swan Song HOSES that deck a LOT.
UR Delver is the probably best deck in Modern, though; it can fill it graveyard just as easily as Legacy, since many of the cards are basically the same. I keep getting smashed by it, which is why I have 7 Sideboard cards specifically for it, and sometimes still can't beat it. Those Cruises are very easily castable in that deck. Burn you, crack fetch, fetch, burn you, counter that, burn you, fetch, Cruise. Repeat.
In the case of Jeskai Ascendancy, it doesn't matter whether it's good or not, it's still a turn 3 Combo deck, which can sometimes kill turn 2, that is also being played fairly extensively. Wizards has said that they don't want to allow combo decks that either take too long to execute (like Eggs), or kill before turn 4 consistently (why Seething Song was banned from Storm) in Modern. Ascendancy combo does both.
I have personally not seen a UR Delver list for Modern due to the meta here in Japan. They prefer Combo/Control here in Japan over maybe new lists like that in the States, but I do feel like UR Delver wouldn't be as effective in Modern that in Legacy. xUR Delver decks in Legacy thrive off of cheap and effective spells to help enable Delver, whether it may be Daze, G. Probe or Brainstorm, and have a faster time filling the grave for Cruise for maximum potential.
In modern, I feel like that UR Delver might just go for the proactive plan of winning, but with so many reactive decks out there within modern, it is not as good. Again, I haven't played any UR delver lists besides in Legacy, but I'm not sure the viability of the deck.
As for Ascendancy, I do think it is a good deck, but very similar to game plan to Pyromancer's Storm. I personally have a lot of experience with this deck, playing and playing against it. With Ascendancy, I do feel like it is a 'one-trick' pony deck and not as flexible as with other combo decks in Modern such as Temur Valkut or Twin, in their case can win in other angles. If they lose a combo piece or two, they have other viable options of winning, whereas if Ascendancy loses a combo piece, such as Ascendancy or their mana dorks, they are set back a lot more.

So, as of right now in how my work schedule is, I have Sundays/Mondays off. Due to that constraint, I was wondering if people are interested in watching the stream on Sunday mornings/noon US time? Any input will be very helpful.
As well as that, I am also down to getting any new games for the stream. I know that watching me play USFIV or WoT won't cut enough for diversity, so any game on Steam or PS3-wise you guys would like to watch, please let me know.
Thanks~

Feel free to come to me with very specific character questions. I should be able to go into detail on most matchups as well. In here, PM, or give me your skype to add.Really like the learn May and her match-ups. I've played Milla for a bit in GGAC+ and she seems good in Xrd, but I would also look into re-learning the game with a new character.

Any good places to help me learn character specific stuff? I know the basis of GG's mechanics, but I would really like to know how to play certain characters.
Dustloop.com used to be the place I usually go to for these types of things, but nowadays, the boards seem very empty. I'm pretty sure with the new game coming out soon, there will be and influx of new and returning players going back there, but as of right now, there's not enough info for me to try to grasp character specs. That, and I personally don't trust SRK.com on GG/BB/Air Dasher FGs as much as I used to.

Nice seeing others here that play 40K.
I've just recently started playing. Don't own an army just yet. Been borrowing from the community that we have here to play with.
As of right now, I am really enjoying Tau. I like their design as well as play-style.
When I do get myself an army though, I am try to get the paint commissioned to have a 'Gundam-esque' motif for the Tau.

Just go to denny's or get some frozen dinners. Count yourself lucky you didn't spend thankgiving in the military, in the field with a MRE turkey stew dinner. OR FUCKING KOREA.
Depends where in Korea. Osan isn't that bad, nice family base now. Anywhere else where you can't get to Seoul within an hour by trans... Yea...
And, mmmmm, MREs.

I, for one, am very interested in partaking a job. The military is gone quite stale since I've been in, and I really need to find a job right after my enlistment is up. I will be taking up Japanese classes before I leave the military, so that's a bonus, as well as to finish of my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. I know it isn't what is needed, but I'm try to take whatever I can get as of right now. :\

I played a lot of VNs throughout my time. I really enjoy how each and every VN flesh out all the characters in a way that are memorable.
Still though, my favorite VN to date is still is 'Yume Miru Kusuri' or 'The Drug That Makes You Dream'. This was my first VN that I have ever played and still the most memorable to me. I remember loving all the character routes, even though through my first play-through I had a notion of not going for any other route besides just one.
Other ones that I have enjoyed are 'Ever17', 'Saya no Uta', and 'Tsukihime'.
