Personally, as much as I like Ivan Floc and him making top 8 for the PT, I don't like his UB Control list. Personally, I would like to run Owen Turtenwald's list.
As for this upcoming game day, I switched to more of a Sultai Midrange. Has some problems against aggro/burn pre-board, but post-board I haven't lost a game against decks like Jeskai Wins.

PEARL-LAKE~ I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO BE GOOD. :D
Good thing I have a play-set of them in Jap. During the Pro Tour, I looked at both TCGplayer and Star City for prices. TCG was holding at around $9 and Star City had like 20 in stock. Right after, the priced bumped to $17 mid on TCG and was all sold out at Star City. I laughed my ass off when I saw that. xD

How slow is your deck? I'd imagine you wouldn't want the pains at all if the games go long. My friend cut all of his fetches and most of his painlands in his RWU Narset since he expected games to go long. It was also a bit of a meta choice, he has some of the refuge lands in his deck specifically because there's a bunch of aggro players at our shop.
Of course, Reanimator is pretty combo-y, since it sneaks out a guy really fast, they might be fine, unless you truly are concerned about the damage.
Good job in SF and Modern~ What did you lose to in Modern? UR Twin is a pretty versatile deck, it could beat most things.
It's slow. I do agree, but I feel like I need untapped lands, but I have to look at my mana base and see if I can cut out a few more to accommodate more scry lands.
Modern, lost to Mono Black Rack. He had Fuminator Mages main board and first game I got stuck with 2 lands. Game two won with combo on turn 4, and last game it was a very back and forth game, he was dwindling me down, and I was digging hard just for Twin but couldn't find it. After the game I show my opponent what was on top of the deck... and it was Twin. FML.
How early are your first plays? I imagine some amount pf Caryatids and Thoughtseizes. Caryatid obviously you'd want ASAP, but discard spells I feel like they don't need much consideration to cast early, at least, not necessarily on turn one. I don't mind waiting til turn 2 or 3 to thoughtseize.
Maybe it's a curve consideration, too?
Geeez, that sounds pretty annoying. That deck seems so... I don't want to say bad, but inefficient. I don't recall ever losing to one. But bad luck happens sometimes.
How were the other matches?
First plays are usually : Scry Land, Satyr Wayfinder/Taigam's Scheming, Courser.
With as much aggro/burn in the format, you have to play something on every turn and get the graveyard fast to help delve for your Murderous Cuts and make sure you can try to reanimate something big with Whip on Turn 5. After that, you pretty much try to stabilize with Courser, and slowly slow-roll your opponent with fatties.
Modern match-ups were, Affinity, Affinity, RDW, Jeskai Ascendency (THANK GOD FOR MAIN DECK SWAN SONGS), Black Rack, and Jeskai Control.
*EDIT*
PICS~

Played a Standard and Modern tournament at a convention here on base today. Was loads of fun.
Played my Sultai Reanimator and was surprised that I went 3-2 with it. Pain lands suck though xP.
Went 4-1 with UR Twin in Modern and was happy with that as well.
Just good day for MtG and Street Fighter. :) (Played SF after Standard, won the whole SF tournament, then rolled into Modern. My brain is fried xP)
Got a box of JPN Khans. Pulled all 5 fetches, a foil Phoenix, and some decent rares here and there. (Posting pics in the morning)

FINALLY GOT MYSELF AN ANDROID PHONE!
DL'ed this was the first thing I ever did with the phone too.
Unfortunately (or fortunately), I live in Japan, so I only get the JPN version of this, and no the ENG ver. Makes it harder to play, but I'll get the hang of it soon enough.

ALLZ THE JAPNANEZE CARDZ!!1!
So glad that I'm getting all the fetches in Japanese while they are still cheap.
Standard Deck, Sultai Reanimator, is now complete as well, and with a lot of play testing against multiple decks, especially Jeskai Burn and Mardu Control and Mardu Aggro, I think my list is solid enough. It holds up against all of them so far. Dies to fringe decks like UR Ensoul or just super fast aggro decks like RDW, but that's to be expected with this type of deck.
Now just rounding off finishing Dredge for Legacy so I can start competing in the Legacy tournaments they hold here, and I think I'll be set for MtG up here in Hachinohe.
