Not to bash on this thread, so sorry if this offends some YGO players, but when I tried playing YGO again, after years of not touching it, it feels like I have to play Tribal decks to even win games.

It feels like everyone telling me to play "6 Samurai" or GTFO when I tried to play again. That was no bueno.

Yea. Whoops, I meant UW. I'm pretty sure you'll only draw one card, no matter how many creatures come on board. I think it's okay, especially for the control player that plays Elspeth/AEtherling. I think she can work in UWR. Chain to the Rocks and Detention Sphere really help out in making devotion for her, and then when UWR hits their win-con (AEtherling/Elspeth), that'll make enough devotion for a threat, as well as either one of those win-cons adding to you hand via draw advantage.

As for the BR god, geez, making an opponent sac a creature, or lose 2 life, makes a ticking clock on Aggro or Control. The decks I can see it not being useful though are those Mid-Range Mono-Blue or Mono-Black, because they have enough cannon-fodder to feed him, as well as having that draw ability to keep them fueling.

Who else here thinks that the new Multi-Colored gods look really good? I like the UB one as of right now. I will flicker AEtherling for days. :D

Play moar Modern then. Shoot, they hiked a lot of cards prices because of Modern and the recent versions they've released because of Modern Masters last year for MtG. $100 for 1 Goyf anyone? xD

Shoot, there's even really good cheap Modern Decks that cost around $100-$200 for a complete deck, like Living End and Soul Sisters.

Legacy though... That's a whole 'nother ball game there. Just glad that I'm slowly building mine up.

Sacramento isn't a bad place to live in NorCal. 100x better than living in SF.

I have plenty of playmats for MtG, and I don't think it looks bad at all. As from a personal stand-point, I like the designs to be simple, just like that one.

To me, when you are playing, you don't want your mat to be too fancy, it'll take away from what you are actually playing and all you'll really see is pretty much a jumbled mess on top of jumbled mess.

My, my. What a weird turn of events.

As a fan of idols, this one piques my interests. I will tentatively wait to watch this and see where this goes.

We here in Korea, have a tradition of having jerseys made to show off what groups you are a part of (e.g. Civil Engineers, Ammo, Security Forces, etc.).

I finally got my jersey made for the Kunsan Gamer group, and uploaded a few pics of me wearing it proudly~



It came out 100x more awesome than what I've imagined it would look like.
