I can kind of understand where Fox is coming from, but it sucks that the movie may not come out for a long time. People who have seen advance screenings of it have said it is awesome, and why should people be deprived of an awesome movie? Especially when there are so many bad ones out there.

That sounds . . . unique. I don't know if I'd be comfortable with so many mods around though.
Which leads into more bitching about the local convention's forum - there are way too many mods! I guess it's because there are a lot of people who are in charge and make the convention happen every year, and on the forums they're given mod status, but it's disconcerting to see that one subforum has six moderators. Especially when the forums aren't that active. The fear that if you get banned on the forums, they may somehow ban you from the convention itself doesn't help.

As for that hypothetical transsexual question, I would not have had intercourse unless I was married to them, and if I was married to them, they would share my beliefs, and if they did, then I would kill them, if they didn't, having lied to me for that long would have been fornication (root meaning of the word is to the effect of estrangement) And I would put them away, or once again fulfil the full measure of the law, and kill them for adultery.
Death isn't as bad as most mortals think though, and that would probably be more merciful since they could fully atone for it, and have a clear concience. Being therefore free to unite with someone else in the world to come.

Yeah . . . It actually does seem probable, but it's unlikely. FDR doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would just let America be attacked. I'm sure he took advantage of the attack to convince the people that we needed to help in WWII, but he probably didn't like it.
Then again, Japan did have some reason to attack us. I don't remember how it all went, but we had blockaded some place so that Japan couldn't get there, and it was hurting the country. On the other hand, Japan was trying to hurt other countries at the same time, so it's hard to paint the issue in only black and white.
