I never understood this idea.

A condom is a contraceptive. Also, I believe it's been discussed in this thread that there is no such thing as a "safe day." A girl can even get pregnant if she has sex while she's on her period.

Condoms are the best thing to use if the girl isn't using birth control pills, and she can't just go to the store, get some birth control pills, and have sex that night. At least, I don't think she can. I think you have to be taking them for some amount of time. Anyways, the point is, if she doesn't have birth control pills, then she has to rely on a condom.

Furthermore, it's possible to get pregnant even while using birth control. Mother nature's wacky like that. What should happen in that sort of situation?

A "battle" consists of a poll with two options. For example, the first battle could be between Haruhi Suzymiya and the Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club. You vote on which one you like more, or which you think is hottest, or whatever. The person with more votes "wins" and goes on to battle again.

About "running away from responsibility," is it really okay to refuse a nineteen-year-old girl an abortion if the condom broke? The girl could be a college student, with very good grades, and because of a mistake that wasn't her fault, she would be forced to have a child. Even if she gave it up for adoption, she'd have to carry it for nine months, and that could mess up her grades, maybe mess up even bigger things, like if she needed the good grades to transfer to a better school. Also, she'd have to live the rest of her life wondering about the child that she gave up. Should she go look for the child after she finishes college? Would the child come looking for her in the future? What if she didn't want to put the child up for adoption? The women might drop out of college in order to take care of the child, and she wouldn't have a great job, probably no husband, so it'd be a single woman with a shitty job taking care of a child. Is that really a great life?

I can't believe I forgot a legend! Tied with Kitoh for my favorite mangaka is Nobuyuki Fukumoto, the man known for ZAWA ZAWA and crazy noses! Author of Akagi and Kaiji and other great series!

I forgot about him because I haven't read anything by him recently or seen anything adapted from one of his works recently. The scanlation community really neglects Fukumoto. I swear, one of those days, I'm going to learn Japanese just so I can translate the chapters of Akagi that pick up where the manga stops.

Eiken has a ton of huge boobs. It's not really hentai though, so if you want porn, you might want to look elsewhere.

Have you tried telling a fifteen-year-old to stop doing something? How about when he's with his peeps? It's impossible. Maybe the parents didn't try to stop him, but maybe they knew what would happen if they did try - massive shitstorm.

Then again, I could be too hard on the kid. After all, he was Swedish. Maybe he wouldn't have gone crazy, like nine out of ten American kids would have.

I can see it now - hundreds of thousands of cases of comas and seizures, caused by hackers with too much time on their hands.

Because no matter what sort of security a system has, there is at least one person who can break it, and that person is probably willing to teach others.

A lot of stuff that was popular in the past isn't known at all nowadays, and a lot of the stuff that's popular now won't be remembered at all in a hundred years. And I don't just mean that RickRolls won't be remembered in a century. Stephen King will probably be forgotten a century from now, and look how famous he is. Then again, it may take two hundred years for his writing to fall out of favor.

My point is, "immortality" cannot be determined. H.P. Lovecraft wasn't liked during his time, but now he's considered one of the most important horror authors. On the other side of the spectrum, authors that were liked during his time aren't read often nowadays. There are, of course, exceptions, and there always will be, but it's almost as if things that are popular decades after they are created are popular solely because of luck.
