I have a question about the movie, the one just before Atom's match against Zeus starts. Just outside of the arena there was this giant statue of a robot - by any chance is that the same statue that was put up in japan (The Gundam)?

Alas- therein lies the calamity of the Second Dimension;
They're hot as hell- but only within the 2D-realm.
Try translating that into 3D and it's still good (the Vocaloid concerts proved that to me).
But that final jump from 3D to realism is nigh impossible.
Not to say that real-life girls aren't damn sexy, of course- but it's that idealised image that the 2D girls present and achieve so effortlessly that is so enticing.
