We're currently working on better library management. Now that we have a more diverse (and in general just more) content on FAKKU, it makes more sense to give the user more control.
I plan to add
Different library categories: books, doujins, cg-sets, etc
Custom ordering of content in library, letting you drag and drop/sort

Went to work yesterday they sent everyone home at 4, drove to get on the highway and hit 3 feet of water on the on-ramp. My car stopped ended up standing around for 20 minutes before anyone stopped to help, got home finally and the power was out...... Today power power came back around 5pm just in time to find out its $300 to get my car out of impound and I managed to no call no show at work.

Now I am definitely not complaining about it, I am just genuinely curious as to why this particular book is getting an accelerated release schedule?We got a nice little 2 chapter release today, and according to the release schedule we will get the last 6 chapters released in 2 set batches and that is great, definetly no complaints from me at all.
Going forward we'll be trying to keep a consistent three week release schedule for books. That schedule plans for one week of pre-order, one week of chapter release, and one week of buffer before the next pre-order. To accommodate that we'll be doing double chapter releases like today!
No promises we'll stick to it, but hopefully this will allow everyone to have a good idea of when we'll be releasing books so that you can plan ahead.

Unfortunately, I have some bad news about Aiko no Ma-chan. We received notice that we were outbid by another English company and as a result FAKKU will not be publishing it. Those of you that were looking forward to this title (I know I certainly was) I hope you still support the official release when it eventually comes out, regardless of who publishes it.
As this was technically our first entirely non-adult manga the process to license it was a bit different than what we're used to. We learned quite a bit over the course of negotiations and going forward we'll make sure things like this don't happen again.

That's not entirely true, we just prioritize the latest magazines ahead of older ones. At any given time there is always a chapter from the backlog being worked on.
We released a Homunculus chapter here on FAKKU just last month!

We have officially added tiers to the FAKKU subscription. Tiers allow users to subscribe for large blocks of time and are an alternative to being billed monthly. There are no discounts for subscribing for a longer period of time and no advantages other than convenience.
If you live outside the United States, or have ever had problems subscribing, choosing a longer subscription period will most likely solve any problems you had processing your payment. Some international banks and credit cards do not allow recurring subscriptions if they are less than a certain amount of money (as was discussed here). If you think you fall into this category of people, try subscribing using a larger tier instead of the monthly option.
If you are a current subscriber and want to switch your account over to a longer tier, you can change your tier on the subscription page: /account/subscription. On your next rebill you will be charged the new amount and the selected time will be added to your account.
If you are a new subscriber, you can access the subscription tiers on this page: /subscription/tiers. The payment flow is the same as before, but now you will be subscribing with a larger block of time up front.

As said previously in the thread, the 1st edition is no longer available. We regularly update our books as you can see here: https://www.fakku.net/forums/trash-bin/fakku-books-download-updates though that list is out of date
Just want to jump in again and say if you're box set is damaged at all, contact support and we'll send you a new one or fully refund your order. I don't want anyone to ever be unhappy with a FAKKU purchase.
I have just posted an update for all backers on Kickstarter. I apologize for the delay since the last update, I was in Japan where I met with Toshio to coordinate a lot of this in person. To summarize my update, the book is on schedule for its December release!
