I saw it more as a reflection of what is going on. Many people (majority men) don't know how to interact with the opposite sex, so they distance themselves because it's easier than trying to "guess" how they feel or even learning to interact so you don't have to guess. In Japan, this attitude coupled with long working hours and little free time has led to a herbivore problem. It's a real problem, not just an "insult" to nerds.
Well I don't know about you, but I would be pretty pissed at the person that raped me, regardless of any previous feelings. If anything, it makes your disdain worse because you liked them before hand
You know you a horn dog when you can't even wait more than one goddamn minute to ride the dick
Also the rules changed. Now it's "No protection at all times" instead of "Always wear protection" and "Lovey-dovey sex" instead of "No falling in love".
I know I've said it countless times, but Ikuhana Niro is my favorite author. Beautiful artwork that seems to compliment the very "human" characters and their sometimes awkward, but always natural interactions in a world that is solidified through the use of cameos, for instance Sakou-san (and the woman he's chatting with at the end) had their story told in Incense
Most mangakas who go mainstream still do stuff here and there. Distance did some stuff for ExE and Anthurium not too long ago, but their ero work is so few and far between. Ero becomes a side and based on how popular they are, they may quit it in general, they follow the money like anyone else.
