Iunno. For some reason, I keep thinking most of the regs/ main people on the forum are somewhat decent with the ladies/ guys. Probably partly to do with seeing what some of them look like in the post your pics thread, and being surprised. Though, I do also seem to forget a number of us (in here especially) are spaghetti harbouring weebs, like kona :^)

Yeah paid online is definitely something that's keeping me doubtful. Nintendo hasn't been good with their online and them charging isn't exactly an indicator that they've improved. I wouldn't mind if they had Melee HD with amazing netcode though. I know that I'll definitely use it for that and Splatoon.
And the battery life is a bit troubling but I can't really expect more without making the console even more expensive. They should have at the very least given people the option to replace/swap batteries. 2.5 to 6.5...Well with type C usb maybe I'll be about to power it with an external battery if I do decide to play it outside of the dock.
Other than that it seems fine. I know people are giving it shit for the release line up but most consoles don't have great launch titles. That being said by summer it's going to have Breathe of the wild, Arms, BOMBERMAN (Konami actually giving fans classics), Mario Kart 8.2, Rime, Disgea 5, Splatoon 2 & PuyoPuyo Tetris. There are others but they're only Japanese (not that it matters because region locking is gone) or games that don't really appeal to me. I hope they open up to Indies really fucking fast just to have something more there. That and the virtual console.

Apparently anywhere else the cops would come even if it's just a noise complaint.
